I have the wireless AMTIfo FHD. I have the camera attached to a custom steel removable bracket on my bike rack in the back of the camper and the power source is from my license plate light source. I can easily have four screens and possibly two more. Right now I’m only using one but I do plan to get another camera to Focus on the hitch. That way it’ll be a piece a cake hooking up. I also applied a bead of silicone where the casing meets so as it ages it won’t leak. The color on this unit is amazing so much better than my first camera. And for $159 I highly recommend it. I got it on Amazon. I remove the unit when the camper is not in use so the camera is not exposed to the environment with severe heat like we here in Miami. End it is also on all the time while I’m driving and does light up at night when I’m backing up.
OMG am I glad I found you!! I’m the guy trying to figure out WiFi for my and the wife’s rig but now I HAVE GOT TO ORDER THESE CAMERAS!!! How cool is this? Man I’ve got a lot of videos to watch as I now plan on watching every single video you have made😂😂👍🏼👍🏼 Thanks again God bless
Thank you! We've been very happy with our Haloview system, and we rely on it as we move locations each weekend. One word of caution: unless you have a very small truck/trailer combo, we strongly recommend using one of Haloview's Range Dominator (RD) models to ensure a solid wireless connection between the rear-view camera and the monitor.
This also saves you on backing up when people are trying to help you that work at campgrounds and they have you run into things. That is a really cool camera. Thank you

Did you drill a hole in the light mount so the wire would fit behind it or did you just pinch the wire when you screwed it back together? (At around the 9:40 mark?) the wire is coming out from behind the light but did you make a hole for it to come out of? Thanks for the video!
Marc, please tell me you were not standing on the top of your shaky fence to do all the work on your back camera! 😳 Thanks for the review. However, I think my wife would feel better if I would keep my eyes looking out the windshield and not watching the back and side cameras. 😒🤓
Thank you JT! It's literally half the price of Furrion's equivalent system. You'll need a Range Dominator model from Haloview for your rig, though, just FYI.
Hey Marc,. Hope you are keeping Well. Love this camera. Due the construction of English RV's we would have to use the sticky pad method. Thanks for sharing this Product a must for all Rv Folks. Thanks Phil & Juliet. 👍🙂
Thanks so much you two! Great to hear from you again. Yes, with a fiberglass sided RV the magnet mount would make installation incredibly simple. You could still drill, but why would you?

We'd love to come visit, Joe! Right now, though, we're in South Dakota on a three-month cross-country odyssey. We'll be back though. Appreciate the offer! Where in Helper did you open?
Thx for the informative video FWIW on my 3rd rear view camera on 40' th last one Taddy Bros seems to loose signal just when I need it most backing into CG space. Maybe it's time to step up to Halloway.
Bill, definitely go with one of their Range Dominator models that have RD in the model number. Those include the extender, you'll have no issues whatsoever on your 40-footer because the transmitter will be situated right above the front of your rig. (We tested one of those too, but didn't film that.)
@@GrandAdventure I picked up my new grand design trailer this morning from the dealer. Came home and installed this mc7109 system first thing. Install was very easy. I've noticed a bit of lag in the video but not a big deal. Thanks again for the recommendation and sharing this video. Top notch video and presentation! I hit the road in the morning!
Thank you Rick! The monitor simply suction cups to the windshield using a bracket supplied with the unit. It receives its signal wirelessly, the only wire is the power cord going to the cigarette lighter.
Marc, thanks for the video. I was kind of surprised you didn't mention how it performed in the dark. Did headlights wash out the picture? Was it good enough to back into a dark campsite? Also, having lived with it for a while, is there anything about it you don't like or wish it had? Thanks again.
Peter, at the time we filmed this episode we hadn't yet driven with it in the dark. However, it lights the scene up like daytime, albeit in black-and-white. It's good enough to back up in pitch darkness. The only wish we have is that the monitor used a standard power port like microUSB or USB-C. The cigarette lighter plug is integrated into the cable; we'd rather use a USB port for power.
Thanks for the video. Question: Installation instructions say the wireless distance is suitable distances under 33' from the camera to monitor. Our camper is 22' and truck 19', so the length is a few feet over. It seems your set up may be close to same. Have you found any problems with yours? Thanks for any help, Kathy
Kathy, we subsequently installed the RD "Range Dominator" system from Haloview and the performance was far superior over our distance. We'd suggest the same in your situation.
Thanks for the excellent review of the haloview camera. It looks very interesting. I know you cannot advise if it will work from rig to rig but can you estimated the distance to the back of your trailer where you have the camera to the dashboard whey you have the monitor. I’m 40 feet from rear of trailer to dashboard (long bed/wheelbase truck). The MC7109 says “ less than 33 ft in distance from the rearview camera to the monitor”. Did the MC7109 work on your rig without the range extrender?
You're most welcome. If the distance between camera and monitor exceeds 33 feet, Haloview recommends one of their Range Dominator models with RD in the model number, as they include the separate wireless transmitter that will reduce that distance by up to 10 meters. Our installation was right on the line.
In our testing we haven't noticed any glare from the running light, but we'll readily admit that we've only briefly tested it at night in a parked position, we haven't actually towed for any distance at night with it yet. You certainly could mount it below the running lights.
Hi, I am looking into installing a system like in this episode . It has been some time now and you have changed trailers as well. Do you still use this system or one like it? I have a 35 foot fifth wheel.
Yep Mike, we moved it over to our fiver, which was even easier as it already had the Furrion prep so we simply used Haloview's Furrion adapter plate. We love this system -- better image quality than Furrion in our opinion, and half the price. With a 35-footer, be sure to use one of their Range Dominator (RD) models with the auxiliary transmitter.
Do you have to have interent wifi for the rear and side cameras? Do you have to have your vehicle running for the cameras to work? So, do they record 24 hours a day, such as while parked ?
No WiFi is needed for our Haloview side and rear cameras. They do require the vehicle to be running, but not the dash cam -- that can record even while parked if the accelerometer detects an impact. To do so, however, requires the optional constant power adapter that plugs into your OBD2 port. Alerting you to the impact requires a constant Wi-Fi connection.
If your trailer is longer than around 20-25 feet you'll need one of their Range Dominator models with the wireless extender. That will handle any size rig with adequate signal strength -- we tested one ourselves but didn't film that, as we went with a non-RD model.
We do, Laura. In fact, we moved it over to our new fifth wheel in October. We absolutely love this system. Realize that if there's any doubt get the RD model because it shortens the transmission distance from the rear camera to the monitor.
It obviously varies depending on your distance from camera to monitor. We've tried it both with the "Range Dominator" transmitter, and without. With the RD transmitter it's absolutely no issue, no dropouts whatsoever. We're fine without the separate transmitter, too, but we wouldn't want to try it on anything longer than what we have. The RD transmitter takes your camera's signal and moves it forward to a different transmission point up to 10 meters (33 feet) closer to the monitor.
Thanks for doing this video I've been looking into this and really didn't know where to start by the way whatever thumbs-down you got had to be people that were single LOL
