Wow, now it makes sense why during the ‘spirit bomb’ phase, I couldn’t do damage and just got instakilled. My whole team is electro and hydro
Mine was as well. But I somehow pulled through. It's funny how a fried egg can undo the damage the spirit bomb does to you xD
Ahh... Yes. I'm not doing the Archon Quest until TSoul uploads a guide on how to defeat the boss to make my life easier. And now, I can continue with my quest.

fought the boss after watching this video and the whole time i was screaming "you cant kill me i watched a Tsoul video on you" legit a winning start
I was flailing about against this boss during the archon quest and never really figured out the whole "use pet on certain spots on the ground" thing lol

Yeah, came to conclusion using Ganyu makes me really stupid to those mechanics when i can just brute force it :/
@@adrianstefaniak7584 I mean ganyu is still good against this boss especially scaramouche's drones and turret.
I agree with you, I like these gimmick boss more than the dps test one. On the first time fighting him, I have no clue and just running around lol.
Also, I see they keep buffing Yoi indirectly like this. Her range attack make her feels very comfortable to play agains these type of floating enemy.
It is outrageous that Nahida E does not mark the little machines and instant Kills them.
can you explain this
@@dennisl9176 if you hold E on Nahida you go in Aim mode right? But you can't Mark those flying things at 8:08 with it, so you can't damage them with it even if you use Tap E. Only thing you can hit them with is her Charge Attack one by one.
@@PrinceVinc ok I just got confused when you said "instant kill" I thought you were saying she could somehow instakill that phase

More reliable than the game lmao, instructions popped up on the screen but I was too busy dodging attacks and they disappeared before I read them...
The boss is cool but Hoyo is TERRIBLE at explaining the mechanics. So many players are going to fight the boss without knowing you need a ranged unit to kill the flying drones... it's Oceanid all over again, at least give a warning when I'm choosing my team ffs
I also got stuck not knowing you have to press T and then hold E after you charge your dendro pig, why can't I just press T to use the attack... It's very convoluted, Azdaha is still my favourite boss so far
@@cheesypoohalo THIS! Why is there no explanation on the turrets? How tf was I suppose to know that hydro and electro doesn't work on them? And it's only after you remove his shield during the second phase, so there's no quick way to test what does work

I feel like I've reached enlightenment watching this. Oh my god thank you! Mihoyo really needs to explain game mechanics more DURING the first gameplays of bosses rather than just a "pick this then shoot, goodluck lmao"
I felt like a deer in headlights, not knowing what tf those elements on the floors are or why my Childe's E skill is not damaging the drones/turrets so I thought they're indestructible =___=
“I’m AR 60” I thought. “I can figure out the boss by myself and not rely on Tsoul like I did at lower ARs” I thought. One archon quest and a bit of stomping and slapping and OBLITERATION from one Scaramouche later, I’m back here. Never turn your back on your teacher, people.

There's similarities in this fight with his mother:
- "Burn to oblivion!" / "Torn to oblivion!"
- "Perish!" / "Now you shall perish!"
- Both have desperation moves that instantly kill you character within a time limit.
- When both weakened in a state, the party has full burst ready.
- (TBD) Both opposing characters can't solo the fight (We'll soon see how Wanderer plays in 3.3 if he CAN solo Raiden Shogun).
- (TBD) a quote from Raiden Shogun boss once Wanderer enters the fight.

Wow... your fight looked very different then mine. I just ran in and started whaling on the boss spamming everything I had. I repeated until he did that one shot attack and then I kept attacking until he was dead. Ummm... yeah, not doing that next week lol. Thanks! I didn't even realize there were 6 nodes in phase 1 or that there was a platform in phase 2. Kuki earned her paycheck healing. I did not enjoy the boss at all but I might next week after this video.

I finished the quest but I can't find the boss.. it doesn't even appear in the adventurer book list and it won't tell me if there's a quest I need to finish first
Edit: Never mind, the domain is outside the city, at a random spot in Chinvat Ravine.

Watching because I like doing weeklies in coop and today nobody (including me) knew mechanics, or what a good pick against this boss is, so a bunch of ar58's got defeated miserably 😅 I was a host so I felt responsible, but at least now I know better. Ty for the comprehensive guide

If you have ayaka use her for those shooter things after u get rid of his shield her charge attack can hit the ones on the top
it's important to mention that if he does the grand hand slam with pyro or cryo, trying to go for the crystal that spawns from it is fine but after a set amount of time he'll scoff and swipe towards you if youre in the range. its indicated by the scoff and easy to avoid but if you dont know about it then thats free damage he gets on you

I got that second secret achievement on my first encounter since I had no non-electro/hydro/physical attacks to destroy the drones...😅

I've never seen phase one before. Didn't know it had so much to it as I always kill it in about 15 seconds. Thanks for showing me how to get past the bomb without having to kill someone. I run a pure geo team so that part was a head scratcher.
That explains a lot. I was never able to kill the turret and always get my current character killed by the boss.

does anyone have issues with T not lighting up in the first phase when standing over the electro panels, even when the pet is fully charged? is there another mechanism i am missing here? or is this a glitch? every other guide i’ve watched has T lighting up when the pet is fully charged and you’re over the electro panel…
Thank you for the great guide! I just have one question left: if I collect more of the crystals than the amount necessary to charge the bomb, will they be wasted? Or will they be counted towards the next bomb-charge?
They will be wasted, both in phase 1 and 2.
@@TSouL22 so the crystal will not disappeared? If we let them on floor?

I have bosses that I cannot fight so after traying enough times I gave it up!
Your characters must have very good artifacts and talents not to mention the weapons.
Thanks for your guide but I do not have your characters, plus I am not so good and I often panic and my latency does not let me switch characters fast enough especially with this absurd boss!
