    I just got one of these and I found it really likes the faster velocity loads. CCI mini-mags and CCI Stingers shoot 1/2” or less at 50 yards in mine.

      I know I've got a box of mini mags, I'll give them a try next time I'm at the range, thanks!

      @@mrmikes21 no problem. The stingers shoot best for me so it might not hurt to grab a box one day if you see them. Let me know how the mini mags do. Also I did try o box of Velocitor I think it’s called where it’s a super fast lead free alloy and those shot like poop. So it really seemed like the stingers were the sweet spot in mine

      Sure it does 😉

      @@mrmikes21 so since my other comments I have put a suppressor on this rifle and it honestly seems to group everything much better with the suppressor. Amber the suppressor changed the harmonics or maybe the barrel just got broke in well but it shoots lights out with everything and I’ve killed a PILE of squirrels and other critters with it. And with subsonics it’s quieter than an air rifle. I love this rifle

      @@jared5862 that's awesome, I've been dragging might feet getting a suppressor. I'll have to do it some day soon!

    Nice looking little rifle.

    How hard is it to take apart for cleaning purposes compared to competitors?

      Not bad the bolt can be removed by pulling and holding the trigger once the bolt is rearward. Disassembling the bolt itsself requires a vice although you can soak the bolt in solvent and blow it out with canned air. I believe the same is true with most bolt action rimfire bolts.

    I actually just got this today from my pawn shop! Honestly, I feel like it looks a little ugly but man it feels great.

      Agreed, I'm not a huge fan of the look but it is a comfortable gun!

    How accurate is it compared to cz 457

    • @mrmikes21
      @mrmikes21  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm not sure, I've never handled the 457, I've heard good things about them though. The Mark II has comparable accuracy to other .22s I have shot though. The only one I've handled that shot better was the Christensen Arms Ranger but it is a substantially higher price point.

      @@mrmikes21 I see, and is there any difference in the accuracy between the cheap mark 2 with black synthetic stock and this one you have or the wood version which is mark 2 G model ? Because the wood and the synthetic don’t have threaded barrel. Thank you so much

    • @mrmikes21
      @mrmikes21  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@AM-hs4bz I believe they still have the same barrel contour and crown as the threaded model, so they may shoot similar but I wouldn't know for sure. I do have a savage 93 (magnum version of Mark II) in .22 mag with a bullbarrel and it shoots exceptionally well. It may be worth the extra bucks to get the bullbarrel on the Mark II, however the minimalist served me well for squirrels and is quite a bit shorter than the bullbarrel models!

      @@mrmikes21 thank you so much for your help, unfortunately in my country we have the synthetic and wood and minimalist and we don’t have the bull barrel
