    Thanks for having me on! It’s a blast getting to change the perspective every once in a while

    Very interesting pedal design, that central Clock knob really reminds me a lot of the CBA Mood pedal. The pitch shifting sequencer also reminds me a bit of the Thermae, but the bitcrushing really adds some grit and texture and makes this unique. Great that they have tap tempo or it can be sync'd externally. I'm glad there are companies out there still pushing the envelope and introducing sounds in combinations I have never heard before.

      This does a great job of blending a bunch of cool concepts into a single device. The results are really fun.

    Sounds legit
    It be cool to have a second camera on your fretting hand to see what’s going on- might help associate exactly what the pedal is doing if that makes sense

    Intro track is too good.

      John from Signal Path killed it. Live rooms in a badly treated room somehow still make a song feel bigger than a meticulous drum library sometimes.

    Going to be a GOOD day when Mark posts a pedal review…another banger and GAS inducer.

    At this point I really think asking people to like and subscribe is unnecessary.

      You’d be surprised. I know a lot of people who have tested between mentioning them and not and including CTA’s nearly always shows a payoff. I basically have never done it on my channel and have enjoyed consistent but very steady slow growth over the the 6 or so years of focusing on TH-cam. It costs neither me nor the audience anything for me to take 8 seconds to mention it but it can have an appreciable impact on channel growth and, in turn, the opportunities I can get to cover bigger and cooler products and topics.

    • @cleftturnip7774
      @cleftturnip7774 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@markjohnstonofficial it doesn't annoy CTAs because they are not people. I've never subscribed to a channel because I'm asked to. Usually it's because you want to see more videos from said channel. Just my opinion though.

    • @markjohnstonofficial
      @markjohnstonofficial  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      CTA stands for call to action. It’s an acronym not a subject.

    Have a Condor HIfi that i havent even opened yet. Was kind of surprised to see it so late in the signal chain. I'm admittedly pigheaded when it comes to pedal order, still stuck in the old ways. 🙃

      @markjohnstonofficial  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Condor is there for its low pass filter for when I want to tame down the sizzle of the bit crushing effect

    I bought the Black Hole Symmetry and really wanted to like it. It's built gorgeously and is right up my alley. But the lack of a master volume made it unusable and I sold it. Hopefully the makers have learned and improved on their products.

      Oh check this one it has separated FX volume controls so you can mix them the way you want! Another way than in the BHS! :)

    It takes up a lot of space for a mono device. Chase bliss takes care of the clock thing much smaller footprint
    Interesting Pedal though

      (I do actually have some in a closet at my parents house) but most of them are just shoved into corners here.

    lmfao, sounds like my ottobit into delay llama xtrm ino ibz pan delay i to specular tempus. might be cheaper. 31:23 sound like the child of the delayllamaxtrm and a thermae/rubberneck. great to see more and more ventures into multiexperimentalist pedals. great verb. if you just want the bitcrushed delay i have a secret trick to mod it. get a used one before i male a vid.

      I like the sequencer, lush reverb, and clock control...but the footprint is too large for my current board. I'm going to play around my Ottobit with the Dark Light...also have the Joshua and Halo.
