    • @AnanthNat
      @AnanthNat 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Looks like you are one who believes Old is Gold. Nothing wrong that, but then the even older generation before Ravishankar should be considered the best?!

    • @AnanthNat
      @AnanthNat 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I mean, I do agree that Ravishankar, Vilayat khan were amongst the greatest sitar players, but that doesn't mean contemporary players are s@#t. Especially Niladri is a torch bearer who is right up there when it comes to classicism, at the same time is so highly inventive.
      But probably you haven't heard of these words, so peace.

    Amazing performance. However why not offer the whole performance. Breaking it up at key moments I find disturbing and really is jarring, if you are listening seriously. Like just pulling some colors and shapes out of a masterpiece painting because you dont have time to look at the whole picture. Thats whats beautiful about a Raga is the way it flows and developes slowly.

  • @hindustaniclassical6809
    @hindustaniclassical6809 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Rakesh Chaurasia ji is playing wonderfully, but it seems the sitar player can’t stand he is playing much better than him and interrupts him every time, and tries to destroys his tanas in the middle.. what a jerk!
    While Rajesh ji is busy connecting with the mood of the Raag, closing his eyes, the sitar player is just doing whatever to show off. Very annoying

    Rakesh chourasia ana Pt Anindo chatterjee are the best performers here. Niladri is a confused sitarist. He has to first decide whether to perform in Imdadkhani Baaz or his father's. Till then he will at best be a film music background performer. He lacks serious approach to raaga and taala.
