Hey Ahnald haven't watched in a year or so. Quit galaxy of heros a bit after my daughter was born. Couldn't keep up with it. But I'm having fun with hunters and I really hope you keep making content on this game because I really do love watching your stuff. You got me through a dark time when my leg got shattered and I couldn't walk for a couple months and I watched you everyday. Thanks you for your passion.

Yeah I totally agree with you about him. The close range combat is useful on control maps, however when it is just for kills his lack of range can really hold him back. Enjoyin the game more than I thought I would, my guild even has a a few people playing so we can team up.

Aran Tal is soooo fast on power control. When your team is getting A quickly get to B and claim it then just keep moving to the next base that your enemy claimed with your jet pack boosts

Been playing the game on my iPad Pro, it runs GREAT. I’m been using Skora as my main, but I liked the game and wanted to support it so I got the 10 dollar pass. Found him really hard to use coming from Skora, this vid was super helpful in telling me to just play way more aggressively!
Skora is the bomb! Aran Tal is nice to mix it up when you get bored of Skora.

As a soft Lauch hunters player for the last two years, I remember your early soft launch videos on the game and was waiting for global launch when you might highlight the game again. I enjoyed your take on Aran Tal. I got him the day of launch but have had some trouble adapting to him. Your strategy makes sense and was highlighted well!
He’s so fun. As an Overwatch player his movement is very fun: feels normal and unique. I think he’s a good character. I’ve watched a lot of peoples tier lists about these characters and as someone who’s played him almost 60 percent of the time I play his ceiling is as high as it gets. His floor is as low as it gets. If you can’t aim and move all the time you’re going to struggle and if you can he’s going to run circles around other hero’s such as Diago
You have completely opened my eyes on how to be successful with this character. I was using his jet pack leap move primarily for attack, when it can actually really help with traversal. Meanwhile I was using his charge move for traversal, not even realizing the potential for attack. 🤯

I'd love to maybe see you do a review of each of the hunters or a guide of their play style! I did 1 game with Aran and i got wrecked but i didnt even know his dash and long-range jumps could be used offensively, will definitely give him another go
Been playing this over the last few days and its really grown on me! Took the plunge to support the game but also get my hands on a mando! Nice review be interested to hear how you find mouse and keyboard? I feel the DPI is a bit odd with the emulation maybe and causes a bit of stuttering when moving the camera around.
Just maxed him out, he is really good at harrasing back lane, never attack from the front, use his mobility to get behind the enemy and then run away if needed, his dash is really good at pushing people around and off of objective s
When I bought the arena pass I was trash at aran talk because I used sentinel so I stayed close to my team but once I realised his power in close range I almost immediatly grinding him out right now I'm on Hunter level 23
And I'm also enjoying the arena pass on at rank 65 I have been grinding alot

I do like how Hunters has a test mode for every character, you can get a sense of how they play. I like Tal in testing, but I don’t really think it’s fun enough to pay for. Mostly I play this game in between waiting for battles to refresh during the fleet arena climb in SWGOH
If your not sure if you want him you can get a chance to play him through matchup events. Then you can pay him but it's a random chance.
My Aran is already lv 4 just from mixup
Since this game just recently released in US, I hope they make all the previous passes we missed out on available.

I just retired from Heroes, 10.4m, benched. But I am playing this Hunters in the evening and its fun. Hope to see more on this game, that way I can still tune into the greatest in the galaxy.

I’ve been enjoying the game. Need to get one of those backbones so I can use sticks and buttons instead of touch controls. Are early levels filled with bots because I’ve been cooking and I’m not sure if I’m good or the players are bad
Yes they are mostly bots, I hear up until level 5 or when you've unlocked 4 characters
Hey Ahnald, just a heads up. Hunters supports controller controll on my phone, so there's a possibility they'll make this a console game as well. Makes playing the game on my phone super easy and fun. 8/10 for me

Since they dont have the iconic characters to play with I hope they give iconic character skins to the hunters (Boba aFett to Aran, Vadar to Rieve) etc.
Oopsie I bought the $20 pass immediately because I thought it would be worth it. I have really enjoyed playing Hunters the past few days and I seem to enjoy Sentinel and Slingshot the most, but Rieve, Aran Tal, and Imara Vex are also really fun. Rieve is the hardest to learn by far bc she only has 150 health and needs evasive maneuvers and mastery of stategy to stay alive. I have gotten quite far in the event pass and almost unlocked Utooni! I am very pleased with the ease of unlocking cosmetics, but I would like to see more use for credits.
They’ve done a good job of making each hunter feel unique. I wish you could make your character crouch though. It’s fun but like you’ve said, it’s lacking some depth. Maybe they can add depth over time though and we’ll have a banger of a mobile game
I think they might make a larger game on consoles, because we are already seeing massive success from Hunters, but I hope they just keep improving Hunters and give it some depth like custom abilities

I am SO GLAD Aran Tal's not completely broken. Most games would make paid characters the best in the game, so having him be balanced is a breath of fresh air.

Spent the money on him and I like him. But yesterday, only a few minutes after I closed to game on my phone, I randomly get the tutorial screen and it’s like all my progress was deleted. Tryna get a refund or get my account back but I didn’t link it to anything… cuz I shouldn’t have to link it just so that this doesn’t happen
When you first play the game asks you to link to save your progress

No doubt. I've never seen a game not add a premium character to the F2P list. I mean not saying this could be an exception but I highly doubt it is

He's really good for objectives bit his ultimate is devastating. Aran has to be up close bit always needs a dash available

If you have to pay to access a character it is Pay2Win.
Yes they need to make money, which can be done by cosmetics, maps, expansions, etc...
If the game is fun and good, people will play it. Simple. But locking characters behind a pay wall is wrong.

Pay2notwait nor early access is never the same as p2w, you aren't granted a "win" just by having the character behind the paywall, by that logic every character was p2w, rieve was in the last bp during the soft launch before the global launch on june 4th, now look at the order you unlock everyone in the hunters path, she's in the middle.
The problem is when people feel mad for not deserving everything right away just because is them, it's a free game yes, you can get to experience a not broken character 2 months in advance, yes x2, but 10 dollars to have early access to something which will be trivial in the future (only him apart from the cosmetics obviously) in order to support & keep alive something you enjoy is not too bad.
The bad & sad part is people nowadays is addicted to instant grafication like you are showing here but are clueless about it, add the victimism crap learned from politics and everyone will cry about everything.

Cosmetics ABSOLUTELY can fund a game by itself, they do however have to be GOOD cosmetics.

You gotta keep in mind there is a sizable chuck of gamers that are far more comfortable spending on cosmetics explicitly for them NOT being "pay to win". It's a FAR more "ethical" purchase to be making in a video game
Yes cosmetics definitely can fund the game if it’s a big game. I don’t know if this is going to be a big game yet.
