    Nick, you have an amazing memory... To remember where all the parts for all the cars and engines you have over there, that takes a lot of brain cells.
    I did a complete restoration of a 69 Charger R/T years ago. I had 3 cars to build one.
    The amount of space that it takes when they're all apart is unbelievable. On top of that, all the parts you have to buy to complete the project.

    Really surprises that the intake manifold and block weren't placed on an old tire to prevent damage from the tray of the ranger. What was more amusing was walking the heavy block 3 metres instead of wheeling the trolley over! 😂 Work smarter, not harder!

    Restoring a car completely is a huge huge job . most people have no idea how many hours it takes to clean and repaint or replace every part on a car. Hopefully on this car it will be way better than brand new because they did not do that great of a job in the first place

    Hi Nick & George, It is great to see you back from vacation Nick, looking rested and anxious to get back to work. It sounds like Stephane's Charger is getting close to being back in the shop. It will be nice to see it again. Nice to see Leo and Robert giving you a hand in the shop with all of the work that you have waiting. I really enjoyed the show with all of the updates. Is that right? Interesting.

    • @cudaman-yq7pq
      @cudaman-yq7pq ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, a very unpopular feature. There was such an uproar about it that it was deleted after only one year. If I recall there was a relay on the firewall with a button on the bottom to reset the unit after a certain amount of time had passed. @@NicksGarage

    • @danpatterson8009
      @danpatterson8009 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I can confirm that. My first Mopar was a '74 'Cuda and I had dropped it off at the dealership for some work. Later they called me and said "We can't start your car." I said "Did you fasten the seat belt?" There was a pause on the other end of the line and then they said "Oh. You're the first customer who hasn't disconnected that." 🤨

    Out of the ordinary: Had a 70 Cuda over 40 years ago. 4 spd car. There was a linkage arm we referred to as a "Z" bar. It was a link between the bell housing/release bearing area. One end connected the clutch pedal. The area I'm wondering about, if you've ever had to address it, was a plastic bushing that fit on one end of the bar and indexed into a hole on the body. Ever had any issues with that? Like I said an out of the ordinary question on a E body

    Great day in the shop . Love hearing and seeing the update on Black Diamond!!! Be nice to see it roll back into Nicks Garage. Beautiful seat repair / restore work . Alot of very attention to detail work goes on there at Nick's even on the small items . Going to be a fun and busy rest of the year !!! Dont know how you keep up with it all Nick !!!!

    Should ask your boss for a months holiday. And don’t take any guff from the guy in the mirror 😅
