Looking at the details of the building process I think that's a very solid mechanic. Not only better than the annoyed employee from the bike shop around the corner but also better than even average dream build mechanic.
Always nice builds on road bike channel 😎Very subtil finish with the blue varnish on the raw carbon, maybe the most beautiful bike of the women's peloton... 😍
Nice video! I'm just confused about using Loctite on the Bottom Bearing, and assembling both sides at once. Shouldn't a good grease be the best match for a healthy bottom bracket? And install the cups one at the time? Thanks!
Very nice build! What torque specs do you used for the saddle clamp? Orbea clearly says 12Nm on the saddle clamp but Prologo stipulate 8Nm for their carbon rails. How does it work? Moreover did you used the 7x9 mm clamp even though prologos saddle rails are 7x9,3? Thanks in advance!
most of the expansion headset have a torque of 8-10Nm. We tried breaking a cut of part of a steerer once, at 20 Nm it started to slip and we couldn't clamp it any more in the vice without compression it too much 😲 😅
I know it may be preference, but didn't they wrap the tape backwards? Considering this guy knows what he's doing, I imagine it matters slightly less than I thought unless you're trying to make the tape last as long as possible/are a sprinter.
Sorry to disappoint, I fear the aero handbars are only sold with the orca aero bikes. You could give it a try at your local Orbea dealer, but unfortunately it's not on the website where you can order pretty much any spare spart. Apart from the handlebarn🙄
Can someone explain what kind of handlebar this is at 0:40? Is this a new aero handlebar from Orbea? Last season, the shape was round on the OMX frames and not such aero.
The Ceratizid Team is riding with a different spec apart from the bike on the website. It depends on personal preference of the rider and a lot on geometry . This is the OC RA10 Road Aero Carbon handlebar you normally get on the orca aero bike.
Out of habit probably. Don't overthink it. The right torque is important, but since pretty much none of the torque wrenches in the real world out there get calibrated +/- 0,5Nm won't make much of a difference.
I’m enjoying the bike so far th-cam.com/users/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA My only real complaints are the brakes and the pedals. I feel like a bike designed for bigger people should have much larger pedals and more heavy duty brakes. I’ve only gotten two really good rides out of it, minimal downhill action, and the brakes feel like they’re already going out. A larger person has more momentum, so I think this wasn’t thought through very well. Also, I wear size 13-14 wide shoes. My feet cramp up on these pedals that are clearly made for smaller feet. Since I’m not a pro rider (and I don’t think many are who purchase this bike) I don’t think that the straps on the pedal are necessary at all. None of this takes away from the enjoyment I get from riding, however. I’ll just head to a bike shop to improve on a few things.
How much is this frame again? The brakemounts are just oversprayed and not faced! The mechanic needs to take a file at it right out of the box multiple times. Wtf Orbea
it's always nice to see the cranks spinning but it's not really a indicator to the performance under load. It's way more interesting what happens at a sprint finish when Martina puts the power down: th-cam.com/video/xlkDrLSsUl8/w-d-xo.html

Yeah, lots of experience with building bikes that have to last through a tough race season 👍
Best bike build channel with another nice build! Kudos to the builder!
thanks a lot 🤗
Orbea builds the beautiful Bikes ever!!!
Yes they are. I built myself an Orbea Avant Carbon with Ultegra Di2 it is not the Lightest Bike but Stiff in the BB area and very comfy.
Schönes Video, hat mir Spaß gemacht, toll
Das freut uns sehr!
Fine work

yeah, really stunning frame with a great paint job 🤩
Nice bike 😊👍🏻👍🏻

great...
That's a brilliant looking bike. I really enjoyed the mechanic at work.
thanks 🤗

Even without a perfect fit, I want this fitting rig :D
That was amazing. I've never seen anything like that before. Good you posted this to TH-cam because the World of cycling will want to see this.
hello, a fantastic video. Can you tell me which handlebar is the one to install on this Orca. Thank you.!
Thanks, great you like it! those are the OC RA10 Road Aero Carbon
Good afternoon, thank you for the magnificent video and work.
One question, what torque is indicated for the expansion headset?
Thanks.

Cool bike fitting tool. Is that a 47 or 49 frame?

very beautiful build bro,can i know whats the watch you wearing in this video?
That's a Wahoo ELEMNT RIVAL watch the mechanic is wearing. thanks for the feedback!! 🤗🤗
Love the build! Where can I order those handlebars for my orca?

@@roadbikechannel Thank you very much for clarification and your response!

Good 👍
Thanks🤗
is this a 53cm size frameset?
Yes, that's the 53cm frame
Double klick with a dynamometrical tool is the best way to overntght the screw. WHY ??'

what is the frame size?
size 53

I'm surprised no one else has mentioned this, even more surprised they left it in the video!
Wrapped the bar tape wrong in the drops. Also he re-bled a pre-bled system and entered more air into the lines. Super great.
When he spins the crank it doesn't spin so freely. That might affect pedaling performance.
it's always nice to see the cranks spinning but it's not really a indicator to the performance under load. It's way more interesting what happens at a sprint finish when Martina puts the power down: th-cam.com/video/xlkDrLSsUl8/w-d-xo.html
Beautiful build 😍but electrical tape on handlebar in the bike with 8k+ € cost is so cringe 🥴
and that's exactly what everybody uses because it works best. 👍 We've been to so many teams and not one is using the supplied tape.

que tan fiables son esos pedales? me la impresión que al mes estan partidos jajaja
Not very smooth the crankset 🤔
Smooth enough, perfectly normal with brand new sealings. Performance under load is what really matters.
