my nudie jeans (cf. other jean brands I use) always stretch quite heavily at the waist. I am a 33inch waist and after a year the waist is more akin to a 36 -38 inch when I need to buy a new pair. Is this intentional? I'm considering moving off Nudie because of this.
Interesting. So when purchasing jeans, should one choose on the basis of how they fit when brand new, or how you anticipate they will after extended wear?
I always go for how they will look like after the first wash. They’re a bit loose so I leave the breaking in for around the house. People always say to size down as the jeans will stretch but they only stretch if they’re too tight imo.
When deciding on which size to go for, it's always best to keep in mind how the jeans will change with wear and when you wash them. What size to go for can also depend on if the jeans are dry or pre-washed, and what your personal preferences are when it comes to fit. We are very happy to guide you through this.
