- Welcome to Storm Chasers Reborn 7. SCR7 is an insane overhaul of Storm Chasers Reborn 6, where it pretty much is a new game altogether. This game is more on the simulation side, compared to Twisted being more on the arcade side. It includes a more in depth radar, which has velocity and correlation coefficient, soundings, and really in depth storm structures. The storms are made out of particle systems instead of meshes. It has a small map now, but will expand. I have a feeling more Roblox Storm Chasing games will pop up, which is exciting!

This game has a ton of potential to become a good storm Chaser game. Maybe some gamepasses will enhance its gameplay even more.

I love the particles in the game and the realism, but twister is still up there because it because of the fast arcade feel of it which makes it more fun in my opinion
You should totally make this a seires or upload more of scr7 because sadly there isnt many content creators that upload scr7 and i think it really deserves more love
I'm still laughing about the other night. I had seen Tofu's YT post about this game, so I checked it out because i was getting frustrated with Twisted (every storm died after the hook formed). About an hour, hour and a half of me chasing a tornado from one end of the map to the other, Tofu, sirzym, gonzalo and a few others ended up in the server. It ended up in...well, pure chaos. I tried to keep my distance because I didn't want to be one of *those* people, but I inadvertently ended up in the middle anyways. There was what I'm calling a ufo car bouncing around the Clearwater area of the map making pew pew noises, lag spikes from hell; Tofu being chased by someone clear across the map; people accidentally driving off the edge of the map into nothingness (myself included because I didn't notice the dirt road sharply turned); a TIV somehow stuck in a fast food restaurant; someone being struck by lightning and a Toyota Corolla driving past me on fire. 🤷♀️
Total freaking chaos.
I had to leave the game because I was following directly behind the tornado and I think the server lagged and the tornado basically froze in one spot for me. I couldn't drive off anywhere or place a probe.
If every server is chaotic like that, then I'm definitely going to pop in every now and then to play.

I don't know if it was a bug on the server or if it was on purpose, but I was able to 100% intercept in the Corolla on the bridge in the NE.
I had a lot of fun in that server too LMFAO, with the right people it can be insane. Twisted is also gonna fix the storm busts on high thermos in 1.20, and make sure they last longer.
@DontSpillTheTofu Everything was extremely random, and that was the most fun I've had in a while on a "normal" server. I was the idiot driving around in the purple Corolla following the tornado just a little TOO close. After the intercept I had on the bridge, I thought I was invincible and I got BOLD. 😆
Recently was playing on a public server where a single tornado slabbed alpine springs and Regina where probes caught max speeds of 374 and gtg was 300+. Truely an amazing storm

Awesome to see you guys jump into SCR! Like I mentioned over on Jesse's channel, Storm Chasers Reborn is a classic storm chasing game on Roblox, one of the first to hit the scene. SCR7 isn't actually a new entry in the series, but rather is the same game updated from its last version, SCR6. I have never seen it look this good before, and there isn't much that immediately comes to mind which I would like to see improved in the future. This has always been an S-tier storm chasing game and now with all these _insane_ new updates (hodographs; seriously?!), its reputation is only further strengthened in that regard. In my eyes, it is now second only to Twisted as the best storm chasing game on Roblox, and I can't wait to see what else the devs continue to do with it. Definitely play it more often in the future please!
Also just a quick update on my paper storm chasing models. Unsurprisingly, classes have delayed me in finishing them. However, as I mentioned last time, TIV 1 was the vehicle I'm currently working on. I'm pleased to say that the body has been completed late last month. All that's left to do is add in details (which I've already started), finalize the turret, and add further visual cues and instructions on how to put the vehicles together. Not sure when I'll have time to do that, but when I do, I expect to fly through them pretty quickly. You can find TIV 1 and the rest of the vehicles on the subreddit r/Tornadointerceptors, where I'll primarily be posting them. Now I gotta run: exam coming up soon.
Probably the only thing that this game could use is a larger map, everything else looks spot on, damage, the realism for tornado structure, EVERYTHING looks SOOO good, just the map being as small as it is probably is the only thing that is really holding this game back from even more greatness

this game is almost realistic as it looks, also, the tornadoes in this game are always realistic like ones irl. And yes, I do play this. even right now
All this really needs is some map Adjustments and some gamepasses maybe a more realistic path for the tornadoes and I'd also say the map should be bigger

Yea, there's several great storm chasing games on Roblox that can easily contest OUTBRK. Twisted imo is the best in terms of that

Yes, I do plan on storm chasing in the future! At the moment I am a backyard storm chaser due to living in the northeast and not really having tornadoes.

@@DontSpillTheTofu That'd be awesome! I'm not sure which part of the northeast you live in, but there might be a decent chance for some storms or snow on Thurs/Fri! You could go snow squall chasing if one appears in your area, or chase some isolated pop-up storms! You'll definitely get more chances to chase in the spring, just be careful!
