Try Helicity, It is amazing, the models and tornadoes are awesome.
As someone who’s played ROBLOX since 2010, I must say storm chasing games have really evolved on the platform. Even early on around 2011 there had been games with many storm chasing features such as, weather probes, radar, dynamic weather systems, and various vehicles with certain benefits. At the moment it really seems like one of the only ways of playing weather sims that stay up to date with plenty of features.

I remember one that had an EF-6 that killed everyone in the celler, and had Slenderman in a separate part of the map.
Wow okay, I'm sure you already EF6 Tornado doesn't exist, cuz there is only 5 levels of Tornadoes that starts from 0-5

The storms definitely look more realistic than twisted and the radar data is insane for a free game. Very impressive.
Yeah Twisted is an arcade style, while SCR7 is focused on a simulation type

ROBLOX is a great platform and I'm proud to have been a player since 2008. There are definitely loads of underrated games on there!

Never thought I would've discovered such an underrated Roblox game, from Jeff of all people?
Now THIS is what Storm Chasers needs for its radar system and sirens, and other sounds. Plus all the small details like the velocity radar and what not.
That is scarily accurate to real life with the reference to Mping, and the like. I hope that the games outside of Roblox take this kind of form in complexity and eventually be used as a tool to train meteorologists similar to how (prior to 2022) simulators like American Truck Simulator could be used to train truck drivers.
I commented on a previous video about how I wished that storm chasing games would have a more advanced radar with different returns, and this is goes above and beyond! They actually have BR, BV, and CC, actual warnings and G2G shear values, a Skew-T graph that clearly showed a nice cap on the first day, AND simulated risk areas??? I'm going to have to get Roblox just so that I can play this!

I think roblox has been able to become more adult friendly the more its development ceiling has gone. used to play for 2013-2017 but at 19 I see myself going back every once and awhile the more it evolves.
Figured it was only a matter of time before Jeff played a Roblox storm chasing game! The storm chasing games are definitely the only reason I still play Roblox from time to time, because let's be honest, it's got the best storm chasing games.
I mostly play Twisted because I feel like it's currently the most user friendly and I have sunken the most time into it, but this one looks pretty cool and worth a look too!
I would also reccommened Twisted fi you havent played it. Very solid game with some wild tornados

Storm Chasing: Twisted is my go too.
OCRP: Emergency Response Liberty County, some of the role play servers are great.
MSFS with Vatsim: PTFS with ATC24.
Also Fire Simulators are starting to get pretty good, working on one myself.
Emergency response Liberty county has an ok fire simulation, but dedicated fire sims are totally better.

Good video jeff! As a roblox player myself it was a good change to see one of my favorite youtubers play it! You should try some other roblox games with some weather systems! I know greenville wisconsin just recently added their weather system and it is very detailed. I have actually made the sounds for some of the thunder sounds! I suggest buying a private server if you want to get weather on command with the custom commands you can use.

I was there when Storm Chaers Reborn 7 was released. It's the most hyped release/update i've ever seen for a roblox storm chasing game.
A next generation Roblox Storm Chasing Game that blows Twisted (Another roblox storm chasing game) out of the water.
Even people outside the roblox community are quite impressed with this game.
Howdy Jeff, cool to see you hoping in Roblox! If your interested, there is a very nice police roleplay game on the platform called Emergency Response Liberty County. I seriously recommend giving it a look at some point. Been playing it myself for years are its constantly seeing new updates and customization options for private severs. Love the vids as always!

roblox has had its fair share if storm chasing games that were really fun. my favorite is a game called twisted. fairly new and updated to this day
I haven't played any of these storm chasing games, but from a viewer perspective, these Roblox games honestly seem to be better games all around. The radar in this game seems to be one of the best, most realistic that I've seen. Twisted, seems to have one of the coolest maps with definitely the best damage and debris models. I really like aspects of all the games, but none of them really seem to do everything very well.

Hey Jeff seeing you check out the Roblox platform is really cool! Even this game barely touches what a group of good developers can make on the platform. Love to see larger TH-camrs who make videos on games like these include Roblox in the videos.

Its crazy how realistic a roblox storm chasing game is, its almost on par if not better than some games on steam that have a price on them. I would recommend a game called Vtol VR, it is a realistic but simplified vr flight sim where you cant touch every button in the cockpit. Love seeing you play more games other than gta

I love when lightning lights up the tornado that's such a great detail for a game it's pretty dark don't know if it's any different when you're watching on a phone but it's realistic

Good video as usual. It's crazy to see what is possible in Roblox these days.
I wanted to let you know that if you want to turn off the little Shadow play recording icon in the lower right corner of the screen you can.
In the shadow play menu (Left ALT+Z by default) select the settings button, and go to the "HUD layout" tile. From there, the "Status indicator" option should be the first option. You can select any corner of your screen to show it, or "off" at the bottom.
You probably already knew this, as I have seen plenty of your vids without the icon, but I figured I'd offer up the information just in case.

The creator is a mutual of mine! The game has had several versions before and SCR7 is definitely just perfect and beautiful (Especially the game mechanics and weather system). It's amazing.

Small correction is that at 3:23 it is a Skew-T chart not a hodograph. They are both used in soundings so it's easy to get them mixed up. Love this game, have like 30 hrs in it. Keep up the great work Jeff!

I'm currently making my own storm chasing game that is instead about hurricanes more than tornadoes. It's still in development but it's called hurricane simulator and you can play it.
as a storm chaser this game is accurate with the radar. Its also one of the best looking weather game i seen.

Hey jeff you should try Twisted its a storm chaser game. Its really fun and intense you should try it theres alot of cars you can buy from like armored cars and more.

This may be asking too much… but maybe do a mini series trying out other rp Roblox games? Like Liberty County, Greenville etc? Those games have some realistic elements and are pretty neat. Or other realism/sim games of your choosing. Regardless, cool episode Jeff! 😁
As a side note about the TIV. Sean Casey, who built it, is no longer the owner. He sold it and doesn't do much storm chasing anymore.

This game offers so much for a ROBLOX game and the fact it's made by only one developer, I just have to say wow.
Like my weatherman says "Green next to red, get under the bed". Keep playing more. As for Roblox's "rap", it's because recommended items are filled with unmoderated spam in the comments, some players like to just push buttons and ruin the experience. Another aspect is that they overhauled the editor and ruined tools like C-Frame, which allows you to rotate bricks at a non-linear angle, like diagonals in Minecraft. Please keep playing more of this.
