I know this is an old video, but I’ve developed a strong preference for US .50 cal machine-guns for bomber hunting. They do very effective damage at over a kilometer out and tend to come with enough ammo that I don’t have to be shy about shooting from that far away.
Also, AP isn’t completely useless with the .50. I find that at least one out of every three bombers I shoot down are because I killed the pilot... probably due to punching through whatever protection the target has and perforating the crew.
Yes, check the damage model in hanger. Shoot the plane from ANYWHERE towards the pilot and watch the magic happen.
I often use AP ammo when attacking bombers. If you're a pretty good shot you can strafe the fuselage and the AP will pass all the way through killing most of the crew. Especially if you're behind them you can shoot all the way through the butt and through the backs of the pilots and snipe them pretty efficiently

It is great but I only have have now 17000 lions cuz of it gaegin won't remove the repair cost from premium vehicles it's really a scam like u spend ur golden eagles and get a premium vehicle but u will start losing lions

I really like the interceptors, but I always end up flying into a swarm and getting picked apart.
I agree on how he says hit the engines. Hitting the engines usually sets a fire and if the enemy plane isn't a plane that nothing in the history of mankind can shot down (looking at F.222) then just hit the engines. By my experiences (mostly on twin engine bombers) hitting and setting fire on all the engines is an instant kill. (I don't know about one-engine aircraft)

When i do that i usually light an engine on fire bit if i think its not enough i loght nother engine or the fuselage and then thats enough
I'm habitual to gain altitude side ways and I always go for them from high altitude or if I can't from below also don't just press fire and keep firing do Bursts of 4-5 rounds you will just waste ammo if u just keep firing
So I thought I was using my interceptors wrong. I spent weeks researching most of the Japanese ones too!

I bought the do-335b-2 for CAS and I tried it In air RB. I try to intercept bombers but everyone just steals the kills.

for realistic, try to not fly directly to the bases, but make a detour to the side, away from where the fighters generally meet. you will still catch the odd bomber hunter, but it wont be a soup of fighters taking a stab at you
The Ta 154 and Bf 109 Z-1 are probably my most effective bomber hunters. The Z-1 can literally one-tap and destroy a bomber, while the Ta 154 is easier to aim and still can easily destroy a bomber. Very powerful armaments.
Is there any other games I can play other than war thunder I can make videos about? War thunder is very limited idk what would be good

To be honest, I've thought about making a video or two about World of Warships, because I used to play it a lot before War Thunder got naval, but I haven't had the urge. I'm fairly sure War Thunder is more popular than any of the "World of" games made by Wargaming.

My favourite interceptors are the T-18 with the 57mm or the F2G-1 tho
90% of the time i play an interceptor the bombers get shot down by fighters so im basically useless for the rest of the game

The B57 is the worst thing in War Thunder. It sits at a BR where literally nobody can catch once it has space climb ! Pls help !
I think if you need a video on killing bombers in war thunder then idk how you manage against any other plane in the game. Bombers are so weak you can literally sit looking their rear gunner dead in the eye and put a 2-second burst into their fuel tank/engine and vaporize the whole thing from the sky, and it works almost every time. While on average suffering from a leaky plane and needing to go land. And if you play even a little smarter than that, you won't need to go repair at all.

Should I play arcade or realistic
It depends on what you like. In air matches, you can spawn in every plane you have in your lineup, but it doesn't give as high of rewards per kill. It's easier to fly, though. I personally find it more fun. For realistic, it's basically sudden death.
@@Tankenstein Realistic does tend to make you a better pilot tho, as you have to account for more things than in arcade
