I just saw this movie today cause there was nothing on TV .. so I saw her name Ginger Rogers in which I always found her cute, then with Jimmy Stewart on the TCM channel .. so I gave it a look ... and this scene was just starting .... I started cracking up when the slapping started especially with Ginger's cute face & expression while she was smacking this babe ... love this scene!!!
TCM? I just saw it too. Ginger Rogers plays this scene perfectly. Excellent movie, I can't believe I have never seen this before. That "Put 'em up!" was so good!
Ginger Rodger’s was such a highlight in this film, but James Stewart as Peter annoyed me to no end, his character almost made me hate this movie along with the father, but ginger as the charming Francey really uplifted this flick, and James Ellison as Keith.
