Love her philosophy about growing what works for you. This has been such a challenging year for edibles but my peach trees are staying, at least the one that’s produced. I’m finding mixing flowers into food production spaces makes those areas more joyful to spend time in. And those ocotillos….I’m obsessed! We went to Big Bend last fall after a wet spell and they were all green and blooming…I wanted one so badly. But the metal ones would be easier to be around without all the thorns for sure. Those are gorgeous.
Love your concept, every year I have tried to grow vegetables & fruit with no success. Your last words were just perfect, I have successfully grow other plants. Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden.

Beautiful gardens!
Good advice at the end. No edibles? Really? I suppose they can be disappointing. Love all your perennials, though. They are gorgeous 😍
