I'm going to say it as it needs to be said this sounds like an aprilia...... which is another premium Italian motorcycle manufacturer that should be considered along side Ducati. I have a 2012 Tuono V4 and just sat on one of these. Wow is it thin and comfortable. You sit more in the bike rather than on top of the bike. I bet this would be more fun actually since on public roads you would be able to rev it out a lot more and hear that awesome sound. Sat on a bunch of Japanese bikes as well. The European brands just feel so much more premium as they should because they're also more expensive. I wish this bike much success. Aprilia created a dominant bike with the v4 series for the last decade but hasn't capitalized as much as they should have in market share and prestige. Here, they've created yet another fantastic, market segment leading bike. Let's hope they get their dealers a good bit better in order so they can significantly increase awareness and market share like they deserve.
Such a fun motorcycle but such a lottery. Have not seen mine for the last 55 days. It went back to the dealer for the valve issue fix and since then it has been waiting for the parts. 55 days and counting. Next time I just buy Honda, not as much fun but at least I can ride my bike. Not loose half of the season calling my dealer each day to hear "sorry, we have no idea when your bike is going to be fixed".
Wooow that really sounds great! And it made me happy cause I'm gonna order an Arrow exhaust for my GsxR, I was gonna go for an Akrapovic but the Arrow is less than half the price here where I live.
to be honest, the barky sound of these bikes and also the r1 will always be superior, in terms of sport bikes, i dont really like the h2, and r6 kind of sound. They just sound like the normal sport bike. but the rs660 and r1 kind of uneven sounds are so much butter
Try a long nose side cutters instead of the pick next time, I believe it will be 10x’s easier for you. Just don’t cut thru the spring. Thanks for the content.
Since Yamaha has got into the naked bike world with the MT-09/07/10 they've been killing it. I think that they should take the V4 from the V-Max and build a crazy hyper naked around that engine. And it ain't gotta be a 1700. 1500 is plenty. I just think that engine is glorious.
I want it...! I would ride it everywhere, what if any weight reduction do you think the new exhaust might have caused? What's with the lack of symmetry with the handle bars?? I'm curious... Definitely the next bike I'm getting...
Can someone please make an aftermarket exhaust that keeps the cool clean look of the underbelly exit! It looks so good without a pipe but taking the silver piece off that sits in front of the rear tire makes it look like something fell off of it!!
Love the bike. Cant handle the color combo. Even with the nice exhaust... I’d have to swap colors if I were lucky enough to win it (I’m not that lucky).
