    Nice informations. Just to add. There are two points which should be considered before investing money in India.
    1. Currency risk should be taken in account. One can get 7% on INR. But INR can also loose its value in comparison to Euro
    2. If you want buy a 🏠 in Germany and want to get that money back. In that case taxes in Germany on interest earn in India should be considered.

      Thanks a lot for providing valuable information.
      We completely agree with your point too. If one has plans to buy house here in Germany, then it’s better to keep the money here, otherwise it will be expensive to bring it back.

    Thanks for your video. To be honest most of your tips are standard and everyone knows it. After living in Germany for more than 11 years, I can tell you several other ways to save tons of money. For example 13% discount on Zalando whatever you buy, 12% discount on Rewe online shopping. 10% discount on Lieferando (most of the time), Huge discount on shopping from Adidas, Puma, Hugo Boss factory outlets (upto 30%).
    German language is very essential to get a good apartment. Usually the best apartment (price wise) are not listed online. You should find the agency who rent the building/apartments and registered your self. They have so many interested people that they don't need to advertise online.
    And guys seriously we should stop watching Netflix and watch your videos for entertainment?

      thanks for the tips. In addition to your points, I want to suggest 2 things regarding shopping:
      1- Every supermarket gives its own shopping card. Through which we can actually earn points and then redeem them when required. For example, we have Netto card and earned 3000points in 6months. These points are equivalent to 30Euros which you can redeem at Netto. Similarly, we respective cards have in Rewe too.
      2- If you go shopping in Rossman and download their app, you can see that there are many offers and discounts. If there's nothing that you find interesting, you can at least use overall 10% discount coupon. We saved close to 20 Euros till date in 6months.

    Please take currency fluctuation into account. Looking at the last 5 years, any F.D. paid 7% max but INR vs EUR grew more than 20%. From Rs 70 in 2016 to Rs 90 in 2020.

    • @FlyingAbroad
      @FlyingAbroad  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for taking time and replying, really appreciate that.
      Here we mentioned about 7 % Interest rates available per year, which means, for 1k Euro * 70 in 2016 = 70 k INR one could have got approximately 5k interest per year.
      So after 5 years, same 1k Euro 💶 would have become 99k INR with compound interest rate, where as the 1k Euro kept in the German bank account would be 90k INR. Of course if one exceeds certain limit then tax comes into the picture.
      This was our reasoning for mentioning it.
      Please share what do you think about it?

    • @harshvardhanagrawal
      @harshvardhanagrawal 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FlyingAbroad please also bear in mind the transaction cost. You pay 0.5-1% to transfer money to and fro from India. If someone wants to live long term or settle in Germany, I think it makes no sense to move money to India rather one could exercise options such as investment in shares in Germany itself. There are ample number of start ups that are there but also many stable companies such as Bosch, Siemens, German Automotive..I personally am looking for a very long term stay in Germany and so only move my money to India when I want to spend on something. But I learned this only with mistakes. In 2018 I transferred around 10.000€ at 78.xx and made an F.D. on my mother's name to save tax. However, had I kept that money in Germany, I would have saved a lot of processes such as making the transfer, going to the bank with my mother to make the F.D. which would be locked away for next 3 years and so on and so forth. Hence in my opinion transferring money to India may not be a good option for everyone..

    • @harshvardhanagrawal
      @harshvardhanagrawal 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      But I totally agree to all the other points of money saving. Please mention parking charges. The parking lots have different prices even which are very close to each other. So choosing the parkhaus wisely may also save a lot of money. And for people who have the option to get a company car, never buy a car.

    • @lazyhunk2
      @lazyhunk2 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Other than currency risk. Taxes to be paid in Germany have to be taken in account. As you are living in Germany, interest earned in India will be taxed in Germany too. I was told that If I get 100 Rs. Interest and loose 60 Rs. to currency devaluation. Taxable amount will be 100 Rs. Finanzamt does not recognize loss due to currency devaluation.
      Indian FDs can work.
      But it's better to consult some tax expert first. To avoid a surprise from finanzamt.

    • @harshvardhanagrawal
      @harshvardhanagrawal 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lazyhunk2 you are right. Income from Interests are taxed at 10% in India and you also have to pay the tax for this in Germany.

    please make detailed video on buying car, insurance cost for car and other expenses that we need to do for car because any youtuber has made such kind of video. I think everyone must be having same question in mind and will be looking for information.

    Doesn't the office cover the money, cause I get in the Netherlands almost 300€ a month netto travel money for office.
    Cause longer than 10km it's by the law that where you work they have to pay that.
    I like aldi lidle and Albert Heijn .
    Luckily its 2 minutes from my doorstep.
    Amsterdam 2 be.

    Please share clothing sense especially of females and office attire is Formal or Casual .
    And Saturday & Sunday is working or off.
    Please share more eating outlet , junk food availability or any special food of Germany in Vegan or Vegetarian.
    Does Indian credit or Debit card works there.
    ATM Availability.
    What are online services available there - Food , Online shopping , medicines etc.
    Like DIY - for an e.g to make cupboard - we get material we have to just fix it with nuts or bolds or we have to do like carpenter to cut the wooden and all.
    Does Induction works there instead of plate for cooking.
