So for starters, this video is lovely and your voice is amazing. Now the anatomy of the feather;
-The end that attaches to the bird is know as the Quill
-The thick line in the middle is called the Shaft
-The soft parts of the feather that extend out from the shaft are the Vanes
-The vanes have microscopic hairs on them called Barbs
-The barbs have even smaller hooks on them called Barbules
-The Barbules hook the feathers together like a zipper which gives them the air resistance to maintain flight
-The fuzzy bit near the quill is the Down

This is wonderful, your vice is super soothing and the tutorial itself is very clear and well-demonstrated. I feel like I could recreate it fairly well for myself despite not being much of an artist. Watching people draw as a kid was one of the first times I experienced ASMR so it's always been a favourite of mine!

Came here for unintentional ASMR - to find intentional ASMR, which is just as good. Way to go! :)
Haha I'm glad you liked it 😆when I make these videos I try to make them intentionally relaxing but I can't promise ASMR tingles that's why if you do get them they are unintentional. But few people told me that videos are good enough to be just ASMR.
I am sure the YT algorithm recommended your videos to me for the ASMR-esque nature of them. I am very happy that they did. I am also happy that you have embraced that aspect of your videos. Your sound quality is pretty good. Your soft-spoken voice is soothing. Your accent is delightful. My selfish advice would be to continue to do videos like this but don't try too hard to cater to the ones (me included) who are here for ASMR. A lot of us prefer this unintentional ASMR because the intentional ASMR channels try too hard nowadays and are rubbish compared to what they were five years ago. This is awesome.
Absolutely !! My main intent is to create art process videos and teaching tutorials. My second is to make them relaxing as I think there's too much stress as it is and the last thing you want is a crazy lady screaming at you to pick up a pencil and draw 😂as far as ASMR ... I think follow along videos naturally turn into ASMR style as they are so process focused. But whether someone gets the 'tingles' or not is up to them 😄 💗

The center of the feather is called the shaft and all of the pieces attached to it that give it a general shape are called vanes. It's interesting to know and makes you wonder why you would call the fluff and strands vanes

I don’t watch ASMR when I work. I listen to music and sometimes audio books. It also depends what I’m working on, if it’s something really tricky and needs all of my attention I work in silence 🙂❤️

Same for me though, it depends on what I'm drawing. Sometimes I listen to music, or have a film/TV show in the background, sometimes I watch "draw along" videos, and sometimes ASMR. Your channel bridges the gap between "draw alongs" and ASMR! :D

I watch to learn but yes you’d have a great asmr voice if you’d talk lower and slower but it’s an educational channel very informative and such talent.
Thank you! :) Yes, that's exactly why I called it unintentional ASMR. I don't feel that there is enough ASMR in the video to label it like this. Maybe one day when I get better equipment I will actually make a full on ASMR so for now it's intentional relaxation and unintentional ASMR ;)
