I've never seen you using a mahl stick.
It's usually used with slow drying painting mediums like oils when working in a vertical position (easel). Most of my paintings are done in acrylics. You can see how in this video I use a piece of paper for the same purpose (not to smudge) 😆
If you watch jurassic park part 3 . You'll realize why i want a picture of a spinosaur when yo see one kill a T-Rex !

@@LeilaAtaya Years ago I started learning Russian because I wanted to be able to read Tolstoy, Dostoyevsk etc. in their original language. I was being hopelessly over ambitious and was never going to achieve that. However, I was amazed to find that very large numbers of Russian words are "borrowed" from English and slightly Russianised, so I can often get the gist of modern Russian text just by knowing the Cyrillic alphabet and recognising English sounding words.
@@caw25sha Yes there are so many words these days that are borrowed from english but if you read Russian classics you would notice that back then it was happening with French. :)

@@LeilaAtaya is it? It's 8PM eastern standard time in the U.S.A. Gets so dark in the winter. From here on out it'll be staying lighter longer and longer. So how on Earth did you get to learn to draw so good? Did you start as a child?
