EVERY song was amazing to me. Did you have a favorite song in this set? I think mine might be Wildest Dreams. That guitar KILLED me. The tone was so great.
I fell in love with out of the woods through this version, but wildest dreams is just incredible. I think this version of wildest dreams is one of her best performances... it’s at my top 3 for sure
I LOVE this version of Wildest Dreams but Out of the Woods on the piano made me fall in love with the song and connect with it in a way I didn't before so I think I have to give the edge to OOTW
that was a legit title in a magazine, it was honestly bulling, the "joke" was told at every event, every article, everywhere... it could have easily drove her insane. And they were doing that to have the best seats for her downfall. Just like they did to so many artist and actors before (mostly women)
Out of the woods is so much underrated. In any form it is one of the best songs written. The repetition just gives chills down the bone if you understand it.
This, other than the "The Long Pond Sessions" is Taylor at her absolute peak as a performer... Its stripped back and so simple it allows the sheer power of her songwriting and talent shine through.....Anyone who claims she can't sing and is a manufactured star should watch this.....I would add the Grammy performance of "All too Well" in there as well....
As someone who became an instant fan on hearing her sing Our Song for the first time in 2007 and meeting her in person in 2008 and telling her she'd one day be as big as the Beatles, I feel bad for everyone who's trying to catch up with guys like me who've been enthralled with her incredible talent and personality for fourteen years. Welcome to Taylor Nation. Btw I'm 73.
Her opening up the Grammys with OOTW in 2016 was absolutely iconic! So are these performances though. Her Wildest Dreams/Enchanted mashup on the 1989 tour is a MUST WATCH
You being speechless during Out of The Woods is a MOOD. Even watching through your reaction I still got the same chills I do whenever I listen to that. It just makes my heart tingle and I get goosebumps all over the minute the piano starts...
Wildest Dreams was a single which peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has almost 750 million views on TH-cam (despite being the 5th single from 1989)
People forget she’s not a “Pop Star”, she’s a songwriter and musician; first and second. When she plays a song alone you can hear what the producers get to work with. Clean harmonies, earworm melodies, and the charm she has in Spades.
I love her and a guitar. It's always special and she can make her songs sound so different. In a good way. I'm very excited about her Grammy performance.
One of your Taylor reactions showed up in my feed this morning. It is now 11 pm, I’m watching every single one of your reactions to her. It’s always nice to see another person (especially someone in the music industry) learn of and appreciate the genius that is Taylor Swift.
Oh you HAVE to watch the 1989 world tour. It will be really interesting to compare these Grammy museum performances with their tour counterparts. Her mashup of Enchanted and Wildest Dreams on the 1989 World Tour is one of her best ever performances imo.
please please please react to her making of a song series on youtube! its so fun to see her making the songs and you'll get to see her personality more :)
Taylor and a piano always seem to get me teary-eyed. I love when she pares down her super-poppy songs to one instrument...just like when she writes them. 💜 The discussion of acoustic performances reminded me of when Springsteen covered Lorde's "Royals"... Totally changed the meaning of the song for me.
@@SoundVapors Taylor upload full performance on her channel medley The man, Love story, I knew you were trouble, Blank space, Shake it off and Lover this is the link = th-cam.com/video/SVY8I46dkb0/w-d-xo.html
The thing that bugs me is that people don't see the depths even in her radio hits because...well... Haters gonna hate.. It doesn't always have to be the lyrics. The song structure, inflection and pauses or repetition of certain phrases, the instrumentals etc. For example, shake it off has a simple uplifting lyrics, but the beauty of it is that it makes you wanna dance even if you have 2 left feet or just an awkward dancer. The mv completes the message of the song. Then another example is Blank space. I saw many many many people in 2020 realizing the genius songwriting and saying "ohh i never knew it was so deep. I thought it was just a poppy radio hit where she was singing about one of her ex boyfriends" So yeah. I wish people paid more attention to her music instead of seeing her through the media's lens.
Tommy you should check the full versión of this, Hernani she explains every song and even shows the voice memos and shows the behind the scene of the making of some songs Plus, check the Making of a song of Reputation
@@SoundVapors that's CITY OF LOVER CONCERT IN PARIS.. for LOVER ALBUM :) ALL HER LIVES ARE AMAZING. ALSO THERE'S BBC LIVE LOUNGE PLEASE WATCH IT TOOOOOO
It's funny my LEAST favorite version of Taylor is her pop music. I'm just not a massive fan of the pop. BUT every single time I hear her do an acoustic version or piano version of one of these songs I'm obsessed. Out of the Woods is a full skip for me when I listen to 1989. But on the piano.... LOVE.
@@SoundVapors ha I've noticed I'm in the minority 😂 I like the angry pop of Reputation but 1989 gets a little bubble gum sweet for me. I love me some accoustic ballads ♥️

It's a weird thing to me to be listening to live music and listening out for the flaws. Humans are flawed as a given. Just enjoy a performance in it's totality.
EVERY song was amazing to me. Did you have a favorite song in this set? I think mine might be Wildest Dreams. That guitar KILLED me. The tone was so great.
I LOVE ALL OF THEM but wildest dreams has been my favorite since i heard it back in 2014 ❤️💛 thank you for doing this and appreciate the talent

Wildest dreams and out of the woods
Nothings better than Taylor and one instrument.

Folky Taylor is the best Taylor. 😍

The video for wildest dreams is so pretty. Also I am still obsessed with the string quartet version that they played in Bridgerton 🎶
That’s one of my favorite live performances. Blank Space is my favorite from this group because of the intro she does. It makes me laugh 😂
