My next door neighbor is Egyptian and Muslim marrying into a Catholic family. My neighbors families have no issues with this. But in 28 years of being here, my neighbor is having issues now with people. To me, his wedding is everything I love about America. What has always irked me about Drumph is not that he's a liar; it's that he is such a bad liar. I chose Cinco de Mayo as my first day of sobriety because I figured it would be easy to remember. That was 10 years ago! You can even go into Express Care and explain to them what's going on and they'll write you a prescription. What you want to get a prescription for is called naltrexone. It's about a hundred bucks a month for a prescription. I had to take it for two and a half weeks everyday. They gave me my first one before I left detox the last time I was there and 15 minutes later it was as though someone had flipped a switch in my head and I had never taken a drink nor did I have any desire to drink at all. I remember being in the drugstore right after getting out of detox standing in front of a beer cooler. Wondering what the draw was when there was delicious chocolate milk right next to it.

What has always irked me about Drumph is not that he's a liar; it's that he is such a bad liar. All politicians bend the truth to fit their needs, that's part of the game, but Don will tell the same ridiculous lie in the same way about different things over and over. The GOP has definitely insinuated itself into conservatives' minds as a secondary master, but because God is so distant and the GOP is right here, screaming... a lot of them don't think to compare whether the GOP politics even remotely align with the Good Book.
To anyone who feels unfairly targeted by that statement: Consider if you are truly living a life of love for your neighbor. Consider if your faith actually feels like a source of strength or an obligation. Because a loving God does not make you feel bad about doing as He commands. If you feel angry or scared all the time... you might've been misled by a false prophet. And if that's the case... maybe this is a good time to actually take a step back from all those loud voices, and sit with God and yourself and truly ask Him how you can best serve Him, how you can be a good steward for this world He created and the people He put in it (Luke 12:42-48 is a good place to start). Because you do know that even unbelievers are His beloved children, right? Even those who don't believe are precious in His eyes, and He does not wish for His children to constantly hurt one another.
