Here is a wonderful older recording of Vivaldi pre-dating the HIP performances of today. My husband collects MHS cassettes and has approx 500 of them, and this is one of his favorite performances of this work. I believe it strikes an excellent balance of up-tempo combined with inner details. Listen for the tromba marina: 2:15. I love the sound! Exquisite!
