I love how the mothers always pat their pups and 'kiss' them. Nature can be cold, uncaring, and brutal, but these moments of genuine tenderness are made even more precious by how unforgiving the world can be.

I am LOVING this series - full of the usual BBC high quality we are all used to - thanks so much for producing this programme! However, as a Scot, I'm rather disappointed with the Scottish Narrator (Thoren Ferguson). He constantly mispronounces ("Englifies") certain words e.g. pUrsonal; pUrfect; uncUrtain; submUrge; emUrge; hUrd; Caithniss (instead of CaithnEss); divUrsity..... plus many other examples. Does he introduce himself to people as Thoren FUrguson?? This may seem paltry of me to some people, but the True Scots out there will understand & hear me loud & clear. I can only assume that both David Tennant & Ewan McGregor were unavailable for this.
