Its amazing how mommy penguins can recognize their baby penguins among all these penguins
Same, maybe it’s a scent or something to know who is who.
@@icyunvme2400 Each of them has their own voice and mannerisms just like we do. :) If you were blindfolded I’m sure you could still identify your loved ones out of all the people in your vicinity.
@@PlaceholderDoe123 True
It's just like humans really. Most of the time we can find our mother's voices amongst a bunch of people. Our moms usually know to spot us well when we're out in public too.
@@jjjlove2260 yeah but atleast we are all unique, we might have similarities but still everyone is unique so we can easily distinguish, but in penguins case its might be easy for them but it doesn't seem to be easy hehehe 😅

3:23 OH MY GOOOOOOSH 😭 HES SO CUTTTTE
This is like emotionally beautiful to watch animals that are socializing and taking care of children or just small baby animal that scarcely discovers the world, life and learn how to live and how to manage life. They are so similar to us people more than we think. And that is beautiful. This is giving me hope. I love watching documentary about animals, nature too
I love being vegan for the animals.
@@NiaLaLa_V it definitely is wonderful ❤️
2:17 the chick being left alone for a second there kinda breaks my heart, but it's okay because I know that the chick found his way back to his mother.

It is so endearing how he complains to his mother after his first "try-out" to make friends. 2:29
It broke my heart when the other baby pushed him awayyy!!😣😭
It’s so sad to see him not being accepted by his peers! He is so sweet and precious! It’s not his fault he’s so little and loves his mama!
It really does look like a big family cookout with the mom trying to get the kid to play with all the other cousins, while the dads are getting together to talk about the good ol days.
😂😍 yeah
When the baby sat next to the bigger one and trying to make friends.. it was heart breaking to see this little one being poked at and then left alone😞
I love how his mother helped him up when he fell over...it was adorable
*dad* penguins take care of the kids while moms search for food for the babies
@@swimmingfishies Not completely true. While this is true of the incubation phase, after the moms return it becomes a switching game. The mother will hunt, then come back and take care of the baby while the dads finally get to eat. And then they'll switch back and forth.

Had a few tears coming down my cheek. he’s so little and cuute. Poor thing. I know how it feels to not be social due to anxiety🥺🥺
For a moment I went back to when I was this little penguin...
Yeah I got a little emotional, My kid is the one of the smallest in her class. She is 6 but was deaf for the first 2 1/2 years of her life until she finally got her surgery. She knows sign language and she still has a speech impediment. So some kid las year in kindergarten called her a baby and why does she use her hands while she talks. She lost a lot confidence after that. First grade has been a bit challenging too. She has caught up a lot but she still small has a slight speech impediment now still like to sign, which is fine by me. But she is so afraid to talk to other kids, she has anxiety now about it. She gets nervous about going to school and about recess. I feel so bad for her I just told her to not worry just try talking more to other kids. Some kids are really sweet with her But some kids can be just mean.
@@lissaC.W. I hope your kid finds confidence in herself and explore world and make lots of friends
@@muskanvishwakarma3216 thank you, me too. It does sadden me she doesn’t like lunch and recess up there is only so much I can do. I just keep telling her not to be afraid to talk to others and meet new friends. And if they give her a negative response not to get upset try talking to another kid, and sometimes it’s okay to play alone at recess, and not get so stressed out about it. But yeah I too hope she finally gains more confidence this year with socializing with other and communicating with her teacher. Thanks 🙏

It's wild how much this relates back to the story of Mumble in Happy Feet. Both shy little late hatchers who couldn't fit in at first, but eventually became more confident in themselves. He even explored just like Mumble.

That harp at 2:33 when the fathers are in the water is perfect, especially with that transition after that. 😊 The whole idea of them being able to dive 600ft deep and moving freely all the time is beautiful and kinda surreal when you see them moving on land. 😁
600 meters not ft!
600 ft is only 182.88 m

It's much incredible to see animals being so likewise to human behavior and acts as both children and grown adults.
It's absolutely amazing.
What's amazing to me is how humans set themselves apart from animals instead of realizing that "human" behavior is in fact just "living creature" behavior.
