I've spent some time in a (very modern & caring) psychiatric hospital, so 'The Mad Woman's Ball' sounds frightening, not sure I'm brave enough to risk this, though it sounds important. 'Clear' & 'Hex' both sound terrific. 'Runt' & 'One Moonlit Night': what tremendous titles - wow! 'Riambel': what a cover, & sounds great. Thanks for another amazing & disparate collection of possible reads.

I would hope mental health treatment has improved since the salpetriere but understand that would be a difficult setting to read about. All the books thatve grabbed your attention are top reads.
