I definitely can’t give advice on planning or consistency as I’ve never been able to manage that, but I’d say just film when you can, talk about the stuff you’re loving reading, and be kind to yourself when you can’t upload 😊

We do seem to seem to cross with some books, although I like romance and you are not a fan . I think watching others, you find books that you would not normally pick up, and our TBR gets bigger 😂 I have put a couple on my wishlist from your recent Haul.

I tried to have regular days where I filmed and edited, but I found that it began to feel like work too much. So now I do what I want when I want to do it. And this works for me. I still batch film most of the time, though.

Another poetry booktuber - brilliant. I'm in! I read mainly poetry, especially contemporary, but also dabble in fantasy, magical realism & mythology - & then of course there's classics. Ah, I also live with a dog (the light of my life, an ex-racer, rescue greyhound named Billy-Blue). Do you know the Jonathan Stroud 'Bartimaeus Sequence' (Harry Potter/Artemus Fowl meets Yes Minister)? I write/read a lot about mental health also, probably my major subject actually, it's important, isn't it? Escapist fun & distraction sounds great to me.
