One issue that I have when trying to learn this or any other track in fact is if you dont want to sing on the track,there must be a way of playing to match the tune of the vocals rather than simply just 3 chords.

Thanks very much for this lesson but when I look at the tab for the intro, I can’t reconcile it with what you’re playing. This shows an additional D note (3rd Fret on the B string) which I can’t see when you’re showing us the intro and doesn’t seem to work when I try to play it. Please let me know if the addition of this note is correct. Thanks

Hey Andy, need a bit of help here, when I play it the guitar is louder than my voice so I have to shout to make my self heard, please help me!
you are probably singing at a lower pitch and your voice gets mixed up in the base of the acoustic. or Try a pick that is less thicker and not strum too hard.

500 miles is pretty easy
try HORSE WITH NO NAME pretty easy to play an sounds great but you have to know how to sing and have the right feel for the song. Get your chords and lyrics from Ultimate guitar.com or just type in on google "CHORDS AND LYRICS FOR .....whatever song....and it comes up with a list of providers
I’m pretty sure the Byrds version of this song is tuned down 1/2 a step.
