@@TheAquariumLibrary thanks man. I appreciate that! You mentioned you friend Brandon had the shiners in quarantine. Is that Brandon from cold water Aquatics (formally Maple st)?
I wish they were that close to me. Granted they are only like 4 hours away unlike some people but having them that close would be nice. Have you ever gone out to try and collect them, either through dip nets, seines, or hook and line?
@@TheAquariumLibrary I saw an egg tumbler for fish eggs. In your opinion, do you think Rainbow Shiners would need this since they are only found in streams?
Isn't started yet. I have had some other hiccups outside of fish keeping that have prevented me from spending as much time on my fish keeping as I would like to.
I can’t wait till I have a whole tank full as well. You should check out Olaf Richter channel and his ponds full of rainbow shiners. Dude has around 20,000-40,000 Rainbow shiners
Hello. Did you breed any of the blue version of the rainbow shiners yet? I cant seem to find much about them at all and no one knows what I'm talking about but I saw you mentioning them in this video. Thanks!
Currently I haven't been successful in spawning and they person I bought them from is currently sold out. Though when I do start breeding them I do want to sell them.
Currently have rainbow shiners and they are cool and all but not anything like the darters the ones I've had all had great personalities and they are really cool looking
They’re very beautiful fish. I hope to get some when I have an unheated aquarium.
Beautiful shiners. I have a group of them in my native stream biotope! Absolutely love them.
I checked out your tank and that is a really cool tank. I hope one day to set something up like that.

No, not that same person. We got our rainbows shiners together from another youtuber and he was holding them for me until I could take them.
Beautiful!!
Thank you Sharron.
Good luck breeding them. Happy Holidays.
Thank you Zac. I am just going to have to power feed them. Merry Christmas!
Nice
Love rainbow shiners. They can be caught about 60 miles south of me.

@@TheAquariumLibrary not yet. That’s the plan for this spring.
I just sent you an email so hopefully you got it.

@@jamesholbrook7785 I don’t think an egg tumbler is necessary.
Rainbows! 🌈🐟
Amazing fish, aren’t they.
How’s the project going? Getting a few from white cloud dynasty next week

I have not bred any yet. The best place to ask would be the Facebook group for them.
That or the NANFA (North American Native Fish Association) page
Hi. Where can i get these gorgeous fishes? Do u sell them? Thanks

Do you have or know where to find a list of North American Native fish in the aquarium hobby?
I love these but not even close to the prettiest native fish here. Rainbow DARTER man. Come on hahaha.
Currently have rainbow shiners and they are cool and all but not anything like the darters the ones I've had all had great personalities and they are really cool looking
Not the prettiest, Mountain Redbelly Dace is wild
