Just a tip on the last cake. To not have to finish each color with a unfinished smear. On parchment paper or waxed paper do one drop of each color, swipe the spoon like normal then chill in the fridge. Then after a few mins you can pull them from the fridge and have each color already finished that you can easily slide on to the place where you ended before and added a dragee. Im honeslty surprised you didnt think of that ! The dragee doesn't look terrible but the way I described makes a completed look, imo! Thats how i do that look ;)

I love all these cakes, but, the pink and purple scallop cake is my favorite since pink and purple are my favorite colors.

Emily, I've had to use the spoon technique before, as I'm not too good with getting smooth frosting! It does give beautiful texture and makes it look unique! But appreciate the tips though and I'll try the hot water for sure! I especially liked the last 2 patterns! Thanks 😊🙏🏽❤️🇨🇦

Hello, I have a question for you concerning fondant I will be making hibiscus flowers that will be flat and I will detail them with dusting powder. My question is should the pieces be soft when cake is served or is it 0K to make them in advance, and let them harden, what is the best way and how far in advance should I make then? Thank you for your expertise. I enjoy your videos.
