The basic thing is: always test the fit of Nike Mercurial Elites cus my size in tiempos is uk 10 but Mercurials in 45 gave me blisters and almost an injury

Its not always this easy. I wore 45 1/3 and they felt sooo loose on my right leg that i couldnt pass a long ball. I bought 44 2/3 now and my left leg fingers hurt. It sucks when u have 2 different feet ;/
Put the one that hurts on your foot and lace them how you wiould in a game and then put it in warm water for a bit and then let it dry on your foot
I bought my first pair of cleats online and lucky for me they fit perfectly, I only got a blister the first day I wore them and now they feel amazing. Definitely will keep on getting the same size

I got the murcurials like the yellow ones and got blisters on toes, the first time they didnt do anything to me. But the second time I used them I got blisters

Sort of. Your foot will feel fine and locked in, but your toes won't be at the very end of the boot (your socks will be) , you will have a lesser feel on the ball and there might be some heel slippage.

Nothing wrong with double socks. If you're having to use two insoles, I'd say they're just way too big and you should get a smaller size.
Just wait until your feet get bigger But i think Double Socks may help Extra insoles will be very Uncomfortable in my opinion

Hi Josh I bought the copa 19.1 and it feels me good but the middle area of the cleat hurts a little bit you think they migth trench more? .... I had the 18.1 before and they were 9 and half size and they fit me good and the 19.1 are the same size too so it migth be the same size of my 18.1??

Hey Josh, first time using a pair of boots with no stand-alone tongue. They've got a knitted tongue system (morelia neo beta) does that knitted midfoot area give over time? They fit great mainly but find the midfoot a bit tight! Advice greatly aprreciated from anyone!!!!

im wearing vapor 360 and quite narrow between my mid foot to toe box, then i just pull of the laces and just start the lace from the 2nd lace point. meaning no lace at the 1st hole. whatever, i dont think i could explain better. lol

For me the boot fits it’s just the width of my foot, I wore my new adidas predators and the fit was nice but after a while my feet started aching on the outside of my foot due to the width, is there a better way to widen the boots at all?
Same issue , did you fix the issue ? Did it get better by time ?
@@albloushi9011 I did not, I just powered through the pain sadly. Only way to get wide boots to fit my feet is to get them custom made to my foot😢

Typical modern boots. There is no other way than Nike Adidas Puma Newbalance etc change their mind. You may try leather boots. Also, just waiting for a stretch might be a solution. I don't know whether there are round shape toebox boots now a day.

I just bought a new pair of boot which are length wise a perfect fit but width wise slightly tight .
I played once in them and I'll wait and see how much more break in process does it require
It depends on the specific boots. Some will stretch more than others.

Hey, I’m new to soccer.
I have a pair of boots that are pretty tight. I can’t even fit a finger behind my heel. And my toes have minimal wiggle room. Is this how boots are meant to fit? Or should I replace them with a bigger size? I’ve played about 3-4 hours in them at this point.
Also I can feel tension on my heel everytime I use them. Any help is appreciated!

i jusy got some predators 19+ and coming from a superfly 5 size 10us which fit me a bit big i decided to go down a size but the predator feel kinda weird in the toe area and kind of snug. i wanted to know if they will stretch out and mold into my feet shape and feel comfortable or should i return them since i haven’t worn them outside the house yet.

Seems like a problem with Nike cleats. I can’t fit into Phantom Visions, or Phantom Venoms in size 11.5, but size 12 leaves too much room.

do mercurials and tiempos have the same length, width per size or is that different? i understand that mercurials fit tighter but im wondering if they’re actually the same size
in the latest tiempos and mercurials josh actually recommends going half a size up in tiempos compared to mercurials. I'm not sure about the length measurement for both for a given size but I guess that the mercurial is longer hence the need to go up half a size in tiempos. The tiempo is definitely wider.

Advice needed:
I'm size 12 but i chanced my arm with size 11.5 the only pair of new Nike Phantoms there was left for €160quid on this site. (Only half a size down couldn't be too bad right)😶🌫️ They were very tight at the sides in 1st training session so I loosened the laces after 10 minutes then it wasn't so bad but by the end I noticed my right heel was developing a sore and was stinging. Afterwards it was bleeding a bit but the 2nd training I couldn't bare them rubbing on it and trew on my old ones after 2 or 3 minutes running in the new ones.. They can't be returned now what would you recommend to stretch them can it be done any advice would be great... there not Nike phantom gt something the heel is hard enough plastic and material feel

I have the new 19.1s, my toes feel kinda tight but there is a 1/4 inch gap in front (I went as true to size as possible), and my toes feel tight because it's touching the upper part of the shoes, is this normal? I have only worn them for about 1-2 hours so maybe they need some breaking in?
Nothing about that sounds abnormal. You typically don't want extra space above your toes. As long as they aren't so tight that they're uncomfortable, it sounds like they fit properly. They have to be comfortable for you though, so it's a call that you have to make.

I have literally the same problem but with some vapor 14s elite and I was worried I bought them a tad bit too small (altho i bought them true to size since i have phatoms 3s at 2 sizes bigger and a pair of vapor 13s that have 3/4 inch of space almost at the tip) but thank god I found your commentary and I hope they fit you nicely now
I'm a size 10 in regular shoes, and I have wide feet.
Then I went to the Adidas store, and tried a size 10. I felt like my feet looked small, and swollen. So I tried the size 11, I thought that they looked better and fit better.
Then, I thought about exercise and swollen feet. So I guess the size 11 will be better. I hope so.

I'm not sure that there's much you should do. If they're just sitting around, ideally keep them in a place that isn't too hot and never in direct sunlight. In the box is even better. Beyond that, there's nothing to do.
A pro footballer gave me his shoes and they are so much better than mine buy they are 1 size smeller so after i play with them my feet hurt

Both are excellent boots, it just depends on what type of fit and feel that you're looking for. They're very different.

That's a call you have to make on your own. They're unlikely to stretch, if that's what you're wondering.

My copa 19.1 is rubbing the back of my achilles and causes severe pain. What should i do? (The size of the boots are perfect)
Are you wearing low-cut socks. Typically if you leave the back of your achilles exposed against the heel of the boot, rubbing becomes an issue. If that's not the case and it just rubs regardless, it could just be how they fit you. Let whatever is irritated heal up and try wearing them again. It's likely that your feet were just getting used to the boots and they'll feel better after that initial discomfort. If it still bothers you though, then the way the boots fit you is likely the issue, and there's no real way to fix that.
