BATMAN from 1989 is still just my absolute favourite, I still remember watching the trailer on tv and just being so pumped for what batman could be like, rather than the 60s version. When I saw it at the cinema with my parents it was the most exciting film I had ever seen at that time. I think I was a bit overwhelmed, I was quite young.
Me to bro,the Batman moments in that movie are so overwhelming & unsurpassed still. 89 suit is still the best(Brits really know how to do it right). But I doubt they *"smoothed out" the 89' cowl* ,it isn't that sleek in the movie especially the sides & neck.
My favorite thing about six flags great adventure in NJ is that there is one of those batmobile there!! It's in front of the original Batman movie roller coaster. They used to have a batman live action show when I was a kid!
To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? He that has ears to hear, let him hear. Are you saved? Where will you go when you die? Heaven or hell? The Gospel, which means the Good News is the news that God Almighty, the Creator came in the flesh as Jesus Christ to take away the sin of the world. The one God is a trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Son came and laid down his own life to save ours. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for our redemption with his own blood. On the third day he rose from dead and offers the gift of salvation and forgiveness to those that repent and trust in him. Although God's creation was created perfect, having no death, sickness and disease, the creation became corrupted through Adam and Eve in them disobeying God. In this rebellion the creation became fallen through the curse of sin and mankind became separated from God. This world is fallen, but God offers reconciliation to him through his provision at the cross. Ultimately God will restore his creation to perfection when he returns but those that who reject his offer of redemption will remain condemned by their sins and go to hell. [14] And THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us, 1 John 3:8 KJV He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Wow that Gotham suit is terrible. In such stark contrast to the Scarecrow suit which is perfectly designed. I only ever watched the first episode of Gotham- I might have to watch the series.
They don't really have a reason to do this, but it would be cool to see WB actually build the batmobile from Batman The Animated Series for these displays. It wouldn't even have to be functioning, really. Would be cool if it was, but not necessary. It could just be the shell, and maybe have some detailing inside the cockpit with some lights inside and on the head/break lights.
The Gotham suit looks like a first time cosplayers build. You can fine better suits on comic cons show floor by blue collar people not billionaire Bruce Wayne
Cosplayers know what the end goal is, batman was just making a suit to scare criminals and protect his identity, although it looks like a cheap batman Halloween costume it's really more logical because he doesn't have a plan for the suit he just needs something to protect his identity, aesthetic comes later
I've been a huge Batman fan since I was able to crawl I remember watching the original 60s Batman and I even got a chance to see some of the old black and white Batman movies which are pretty dang cool very low budget but very cool Long Live Batman I'll always be a fan
The scarecrow costume is incredible! The attention to detail is fantastic, looks really creepy. The 1989 batman was the closest to the real character amazing film.
Disappointed that the first Schumacher batman suit isnt included. It was a mix of Keaton's suit and the next val Kilmer suit. Black but with a yellow emblem on the chest. It was so underrated
The Keaton Batman costumes on display aren't actually the originals. The originals were pretty much crumbling to dust :( but they took them to the guy who originally sculpted them, and he used some modern tech to capture them before there was nothing left. Then they created new ones from the 3D captures: th-cam.com/video/Gm5zjxSrx6g/w-d-xo.html
Why do they always show the crappy suit from the end of Batman Forever instead of the suit Val Kilmer wore for most of the movie? That one was actually pretty good!
1:05 I hate to break it to you, but those costumes are not the ones used in the movies. The originals are pretty much dust now as you would expect. DC recently posted a video showing the condition of the original and the "restoration" process.. which they call restoration, but it's basically replication as they literally have to make them again from the ground up using the original as a base. So yeah.. these are in great conditions because they were just made.
@@insanebombgamer We might have watched different videos. The entire mask was redone from scratch and most of the suit turned into powder. The video doesn't show everything, bur the original were using as foundation
Also saw the video in question. Sad to see the originals essentially don't exist anymore, but they just weren't made to last. Would be cool to see them get re-restored in 20 years.
On the bat symbol everywhere, you have to remember that the whole point of his persona was to create a mystique that would make criminals afraid. So, he wanted people to know who he was when he showed up. It actually makes sense in that context.
Guys where is this Batman museum now?? I need to go there ASAP! ♡ i wanna see the costumes (especially Batman Forever with Kilmer ❤️) and all the props omg 😭❤️
I've noticed in batman and robin (particularly the frozen museum scene) that batman's cowl changes from the version they made specifically for that film and the batman forever version
As a fan of Gotham, as well as Batman in general, it’s nice to see the suit stand with the others but... yeah, the suit looks kind of embarrassing when put with the suits of the Keaton films and even Kilmer’s suit which I think is quite good. I know the team behind Gotham had a lot of troubles behind the scenes, particularly relating to The Joker, but it is a shame how the suit turned out in person. I have not seen the finale yet, so hopefully it looks better on camera.
It's not as bad in the scenes while someone wears it and there is good light but you can totally see that they didn't spend much time on this because it was only made for a few minutes of screen time.
There were no pieces from Batman '66 at the exhibit. It only included pieces from Batman '89, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, The Dark Knight Rises, and Gotham. Plus very minimal actual comic book pieces.
These are from the Warners archive. Most likely they don't have the Adam West suit. I think the show and movie costumes are both in private collector's possession.
@@SuperWolsey The ones they took to Comicon are restored suits. I found the video they made before Comicon where they show a bit of how they do it. They 3d scan the original and rebuild it with molds using the latex that's falling apart. th-cam.com/video/Gm5zjxSrx6g/w-d-xo.html

WB makes the Scarecrow that good but makes the Batsuit look like a no budget failed cosplay attempt! And before you say "well Bruce was just starting out" remember he is a billionaire with unlimited resources so i think it would be a lot better than that trash!
I wonder how they got their hands on the Mr. Freeze costume. Hollywood rumor was that Arnold wouldn't do the film without being able to keep the costume after the production wrapped.
There’s no West suit, as it wasn’t a WB asset. So maybe they don’t have the rights. And the hosts clearly do not watch the vids on their own channel, as he claims they’re ‘remarkably well preserved’, when they’ve actually been ‘Painstakingly restored!!!’
This is why stuff is hard to find for collections because alot of other people have those pieces and figures in there collection and they will die before they get sold
The Batmobile from Keaton’s run was the only Hotwheel I ever owned.
Spectacular collection!!
The pause at the Gotham Batsuit. lol!

5:10 Norm's way of saying: I don't like it xD
I like to pretend Norm will mispronounce thinks intentionally as he knows people will point it out in the comments. It's like an audible word search.
The Returns suit is so damn cool.

It's in front of the original Batman movie roller coaster. They used to have a batman live action show when I was a kid!
I remember they had that in six flags Stlouis.
Dude, my inner child just screamed so loud with joy right now. Especially after seeing the first Burton Batmobile.
The Returns suit remains my favorite...love the change in the body armor and the emblem on the chest has less points which matched the Bat-Signal.
Fewer
It would have been cool to see Adam West's 1960's BATMAN costume.
@Taufik Rahman and batman beyond aka terry McGinnis as well as the Batmobile from Batman Beyond nicknamed the gliding bat from cartoon not the comics
😂😂
I totally agree with you!

That would be a hard get, there's only one authentic complete AW costume, and its not in great shape. And I don't think they'd want a replica.
The bat symbol was all over bat gadgets in Batman 66. 89 Batman did not start that trend
You tell em'. Long live Adam West and Burt Ward!
Where was Adam West's bat-suit? That would have really set the bar for television bat-armor!
Yes
😂😂😂😂
I think his family owns it and wouldn't give it up

Another Batsuit that wasn’t on display was the Ben Affleck version.

Keaton's batmobile the best car ever made, ever!
Not very practical tbh it’s way too long for corners it’s a limo but the driver is in the back

Miss the standard suit of Batman Forever

bat-cave museum sounds awesome.. 80+ years of stuff to gather up...
I just love that dark, rough, imposing suit from Batman '89. My favorite Bat-suit ever.
What-- no Forever Panther suit? Just keeps up the misconception that B&R was the debut of the Bat-nipples...
i know! nobody understands lol
Forever had the best suits
Agreed! The silver belt combined with the striking gold behind the Bat symbol made the suit so sleek and clean!

I'm glad they decided to restore the original '89 and '91 Batsuits. They're truly are a piece of art!
i like the scarecrow stactue, even the 1989 batsuit and batmobile
I actually kinda liked the silver Batsuit from Forever. It had spunk and I dug the ears !
Same. It's definetely unique, but in a good way. They had to experiment, but I genuinly like it.
I've always thought the Snyderverse vehicles and suits never got enough credit.
Disappointed that the first Schumacher batman suit isnt included. It was a mix of Keaton's suit and the next val Kilmer suit. Black but with a yellow emblem on the chest. It was so underrated
Going into nostalgia overload.
I live in the San Diego area and I went there on the ending of comic con to see the batmobile and the huge duck in the middle of the road
'89 Bat Suit is still the best ever, except for maybe the BvS one, which was sadly misspent.
I know! It was such a perfect page to screen translation of the Batsuit from Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. It deserved a better movie!
Ben affleck and that batsuit had incredible potential.

Loved The BVS Batsuit.
Why do they always show the crappy suit from the end of Batman Forever instead of the suit Val Kilmer wore for most of the movie? That one was actually pretty good!
That Kilmer “sonar” suit is the second he wore. The first one is called the “panther” suit and is more like the 89 one with muscles and bat emblem.
Rip Adam West Batman

The sculpt on the faces for the mannequins is spot on.
They're probably actual casts of their faces

No Forever panther suit!? that was the best sculpt of the original black suits.
Kind of weird that it gets overlooked in favor of the suit he wears only for the last 20-30 minutes of the movie.

Tim burton's first two Batman suits and batmobile design, the best to date.
Pfff ouaouhhh!!😲 incroyable !!! Magnifique !! Je veux voir ça !! I want to see bat costumes 89’ ans 92´ !!! Superbe !!
It would be cool if they show an little bit more of the Adam West's version and the Dark Knight Trilogy.
Val Kilmer had 2 actual Bat Suits. His first one was very similar to Keatons Bat suit but was destroyed by the Riddler.
"Get in the duck!" - Penguin
"Which one?"
😂😂😂😂
Am i the only person who think the Arnold suit is badass
Shame that there was no real-size replica or mock-up on the 1989 Batwing and the 1992 Batskiboat...
You could hear pain in Norms voice when they got to the Gotham batsuit
How come only the sonar suit for Batman Forever? The standard Val Kilmer batsuit has the best design imo.
The dark knight suit at the end wow!!
