How did you get this AWESOME tone?!?!
Let me start by saying I dig this cover. You did well mate. I was just searching TH-cam to see if anyone did a dual-guitar cover of this song but also included the song's accents with one guitar while the other played it's share of the track.
Unfortunately the one bit I was personally hoping for wasn't here. Starting at 1:38, for example, in the actual song one guitar plays the verse riff while the other guitar strikes a particular chord with a bit of sustain. As the chord is held, the volume knob turns slowly from 0 to 100% and then quickly back down to 0. Also leading into this riff, immediately following the first chorus there's a bit where one guitar plays the verse riff while the other pick slides into the next phrase.
Honestly, the fact that those minor details aren't present isn't a big deal at all. As I said earlier, you did well. Your technique seems polished and you didn't mess the riffs up. I was just looking for the finer details that are usually overlooked in covers. Great work, nonetheless. Though if there was just one suggestion I could make it would be to include the little accent touches in future covers. In my opinion they really do add an extra layer of depth to a track and it's never a bad thing. Cheers!
