This theme and color story feels like it represents more than one season....it actually feels like it takes you through my favorite half of the year, when spring is in full bloom and the nights are getting warmer and going outside to look at the moon is so inviting. Then turning toward autumn, when the world begins to get a little darker, and the feeling of magic builds to it's high point at the harvest moon! It's very witchy, but not just in an autumnal way. I'm sure I'll save some of the lighter colors for when I'm in that spring/summer mood (I am a devout seasonal wearer), and enjoy the darker moodier ones now! My only thing with thermals is that they don't last forver so I'm glad those two feel autumnal enough to wear right away. I got the whole collection!
@@KelliMarissa I don't know why I didn't love the thermals as much as you did in this one, but funny story when I was wearing Queen of the Dead: I was having lunch with a friend, and she was looking at my hands so much as I was talking and eating, and every time I looked at my nails they were different. I'm surprised she didn't say anything, but she definitely noticed something was weird. 😆
I had to get this whole collection. The momento mori reminds me of a milky white base coat, and you could wear it as a background color for nail art. I've always been partial to thermals also
I think that dark magnetic one is the prettiest thing I've ever seen! I've never had a magnetic polish but now thinking I should! If you haven't tried snif Sweet Ash, it's incredible and sounds right up your alley!

Mooncat had some of my favorite polishes this year! I can't stop wearing Hardcore Buttercup and Treachery in the Blue. I would easily repurchase both! Love the sage thermal.
I really like the larger shimmers Mooncat included throughout this collection. I never reach for polishes that show the brush strokes and including the larger particles really breaks that up.
I already ordered the whole set as soon as it was released, but I would have jumped on it after seeing this if I hadn't already ordered it. I'm so glad it's not a limited set but will stick around because I love all of them! Can't wait to get my order and start playing with them. Mooncat is one of my favorite brands, I still have several bottles from when they were still Live Love Polish.

I ordered the whole collection. And my favorite is the Twilight Sonata. I've tried other thermals, but even with my somewhat longer nails, they tended to stay in their warm stages. But I don't ever have that problem with Mooncat thermals!
The entire collection is stunning. After the Rain reminds me of CG Pearl Jammin with that light blueish grayish lilac leaning base with the pinky gold shimmer, except the shimmer particles are larger in the MC polish.
Fun fact, because I’m a French teacher, I feel obliged to wear French perfumes… That means that I rely heavily on Dior and Chanel 😅 having said that, I try to only keep a handful of perfumes on my bathroom shelf because, as many people here will understand, I keep the rest of my space open for nail polish 😃😃 thank you for the mooncat swatches, I am going to be keeping my eyes out for the next sale coming up in (I think) November!

Memento Mori, Fields of Lavender, and Nocturne were my favorites out of this collection. Memento Mori is another polish that reminds of when the fog is still out in the morning and the sun is sparking on water or snow. Fields of Lavender is giving me Sarah Sanderson vibes with a single magnetic line. Overall I can see using Nocturn with Memento Mori for a fun a light vs dark or good vs evil manicure.
These might finally make me love magnetics, I have such a hard time with them generally but these are so beautiful. Thanks for great content as always x
Purple & cyan blue is my favorite color combo!! Brings me back to playing my 20 Questions handheld game as a kid, it was dark purple but changed to bright blue with the warmth from your hands. And yes I have Orly x Kelli's Solar Flare!! xD luv it
I’m so hesitant about thermal polishes bc they don’t last very long, but I am sooo tempted with all of Mooncat’s thermals. Would love to hear you mention them again much later to check in on how long the effect lasts from the bottle. Also so cool to hear you’re into perfumes!!! I just got into them more this year, specifically perfume oils. I lean more towards warm & spicy scents rather than florals, with some exceptions.
Fields of Lavender and Harvest Moon are really tempting me, but Sagebrush is an unexpected beauty as well. For scents, my goal seems to be to smell like a bakery at all times! Gourmand scents always draw me in, like cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, but not overly sweet. Basically warm and cozy scents. Some of the musky scents you mentioned though are also really good!
This whole collection is so so pretty, if I had the means I'd definitely have gotten them all! I ended up going for Nocturne, Sagebrush and Twilight Sonata (and picked up some other Mooncat polishes from my wishlist) and I'm super excited to get them

Burberry Hero is one of my favorites. Replica Autumn vibes, and Jazz club are also way up there. For the summer I enjoy Kayali eden juicy apple. I also bought this new Mooncat collection, even though I'm trying to not spend money while in school. It was just too beautiful. Twilight Sonata will probably be the one I use first.

I wait for your reviews before buying now because I think your lighting gives a more accurate color representation as opposed to the color swatches on polish sites. Especially colors I'm on the fence about.
I'm obsessed with this collection! My fav is probably either Poems for a Harvest Moon or Fields of Lavender but holy moly do I like the rest too! For perfume, I've been getting samples and trying to find what I like. So far I like Myth from Ellis Brooklyn and Clean Reserve Rain! Myth is kinda moody, I don't know how else to describe it lol. And Reserve Rain is really clean and fresh smelling, not like cleaner but like nature after a rainfall. I would also consider both of them to be unisex! My partner uses Tom Ford Soleil Blanc and it smells amazing too, that's another gender neutral one, but it's more summery.
Stunning collection!!! Wow even the thermals which I haven’t been keen on were lovely…but I did love the blue/purple one. The other plus was the shimmers in them. I would love to but them, but just did a huge cosmic order, it’s hard to justify for me now I have found that brand here in Oz. Mooncat is double the price to start plus shipping …. The colours I did get from Mooncat was on sale which made it more affordable for me…. This one isn’t sadly. Think I will be sticking with the Aussie brand. 💜 Great swatch review Kelli. 💜💜💜
I love essential oils. My favourite blend is called Venus from a local soap shop called Cottage North Soap Works. It is a concoction of patchouli, lavender and vanilla. Very demure. 😎

What a fun collection!! I love perfumes as well - a cozy spicy scent is my go to, but I mix it up with some fruitier scents in the spring/summer. I think I'm definitely a seasonal scent person more so than season nail polish (but that as well to a lesser degree). I have a ton of scent samples from Sucreabeille and am currently wearing one of my favorites kitchen witch!

Holy sheep, Fields of Lavender and Dark Night of the Soul are insanely gorgeous! Loooooove! I don't really like very sweet perfumes (which most of the time, if it says it has vanilla notes, it will be sweet ... which annoys me, because actual vanilla doesn't smell sicky sweet), but yes to more masculine scents. From time to time, I will just by a man's cologne and wear that instead. But I do like some florals and things that smell a little like spices and incense and musk.
Hello kelli! In the future, would it be possible to move your finger slower when showing thermals? I would love to see how quickly the color transitions on its own after you lift your finger from the water. Hope that makes sense. Thank you for your videos ❤
Poems for a harvest moon is beautiful, I might need that lol. I like perfume but also have multiple small bottles. Its nice to have something to fit any mood. One scent I always go back to is Moss by Commodity. Its a very nice unisex fragrance that just feels like walking in the woods. Its the only thing I could ever justify buying a large bottle of since I actually wear it pretty regularly.

I wait for your reviews before buying now because I think your lighting gives a more accurate color representation as opposed to the color swatches on polish sites. Especially colors I'm on the fence about.

I'm obsessed with this collection! My fav is probably either Poems for a Harvest Moon or Fields of Lavender but holy moly do I like the rest too! For perfume, I've been getting samples and trying to find what I like. So far I like Myth from Ellis Brooklyn and Clean Reserve Rain! Myth is kinda moody, I don't know how else to describe it lol. And Reserve Rain is really clean and fresh smelling, not like cleaner but like nature after a rainfall. I would also consider both of them to be unisex! My partner uses Tom Ford Soleil Blanc and it smells amazing too, that's another gender neutral one, but it's more summery.

Stunning collection!!! Wow even the thermals which I haven’t been keen on were lovely…but I did love the blue/purple one. The other plus was the shimmers in them. I would love to but them, but just did a huge cosmic order, it’s hard to justify for me now I have found that brand here in Oz. Mooncat is double the price to start plus shipping …. The colours I did get from Mooncat was on sale which made it more affordable for me…. This one isn’t sadly. Think I will be sticking with the Aussie brand. 💜

I love essential oils. My favourite blend is called Venus from a local soap shop called Cottage North Soap Works. It is a concoction of patchouli, lavender and vanilla. Very demure. 😎

What a fun collection!! I love perfumes as well - a cozy spicy scent is my go to, but I mix it up with some fruitier scents in the spring/summer. I think I'm definitely a seasonal scent person more so than season nail polish (but that as well to a lesser degree). I have a ton of scent samples from Sucreabeille and am currently wearing one of my favorites kitchen witch!

I’m like you for perfume tho, I change it up daily. I work I a machine shop but I still put somethin on before I leave for the day even tho it’s useless shortly after I get to work😂 I love floral and fruity scents tho.

I don't really like very sweet perfumes (which most of the time, if it says it has vanilla notes, it will be sweet ... which annoys me, because actual vanilla doesn't smell sicky sweet), but yes to more masculine scents. From time to time, I will just by a man's cologne and wear that instead. But I do like some florals and things that smell a little like spices and incense and musk.
Hello kelli! In the future, would it be possible to move your finger slower when showing thermals? I would love to see how quickly the color transitions on its own after you lift your finger from the water. Hope that makes sense. Thank you for your videos ❤

Poems for a harvest moon is beautiful, I might need that lol. I like perfume but also have multiple small bottles. Its nice to have something to fit any mood. One scent I always go back to is Moss by Commodity. Its a very nice unisex fragrance that just feels like walking in the woods. Its the only thing I could ever justify buying a large bottle of since I actually wear it pretty regularly.
