the model itself looks not that bad, but I like how you put some marks and exhaust traces on it. It seems easy to perform and removes the initial "plastic effect" of the kit without going for a complete painting. Nice work !
Wow! Great! The thing with the paint is great. It gives the x-wing more details than is seen at first. What I like about bandai is that they give you a stand for their models. Can't wait for my stormtrooper to arrive! :)

I was really enjoying the vid until I saw the size comparison gauged with a box of friggin cigarettes. man, as a smoker this may seem a weird comment I'm sure, but I regret picking up this nasty expensive habit. not sure if this vid was meant for older crowds, but that made it entirely inappropriate. still a cool build none the less.

Did you use top coat before apply the tamiya panel accent color?
What was that black thing you are using and the clear liquid you are using after it?
The clear one is thinner to erase unnecessary black lines by tamiya accent color ;)

So you separated the parts of the x-wing to make the ink dry faster and just to make you clean up with the thinner easier?
