From all the tutorials on youtube , I have learned the most from you Ellen. In a couple of weeks. I went crazy from all the watercolortechniques, but you make things light and easier. Now it is fun for me and things are really going well.
Thank you! I love all the beach paintings-I’m even getting better! You’re my favorite artist for making great tutorials-you explain everything so well and I love your paintings!
Ellen, this was an amazing tutorial. You do make it look so simple. I kind of botched it, overworking it, going to heavy on the blades of sea grass. I did have fun though, so it was a great exercise for me. I'm still very much a novice. I used my sketchbook, so I will definitely attempt it again. Then I will see my progress! Once I get it closer to what I would like to see, I'll make it into a card to mail to my Florida sister. :) Thanks again for all of your tutorials! 😁
Gorgeous Ellen! Thank you so much for showing this technique. I’ve needed your inspiration for some beachscape bookmarks I’ll be doing for the gift shop I donate to…Heritage Village museum. You’re a blessing! 💗Rita
My paint colors were quite different from yours but i still enjoyed it. I have to say i kept the shadinh part a lot simpler but im happy with the results!

Is prussian blue the same as phthalo blue? I love your beach tutorials.
Do you paint over some of the masking fluid, or scrape it off?
Is there only 1 white from WN, or doesn't it not matter which one you use.
