Northern Kentucky prepares for winter storm, new chemical mix to melt snow quicker

This year, Boone County Public Works will be using a newer chemical mix of calcium chloride with salt to help keep roads safe in these colder temperatures.

Yup, people need more chemicals in the air. How about just putting down sand instead?
