Custom Book Cover Design for Crime Story | Photoshop Speed Art

Today we have a special video where we show how our designers create a stylish cover with a thrilling atmosphere for Ursula Marcher's crime story Sixty 😎
✨First, we worked on the main character: the protagonist is a young Black reporter, so we used a picture of a girl in business casual attire to create a "journalist" look and changed the face to ensure the image corresponds to the description in the book.
✨ Next, we chose a rural view for the background as per the author's request, made the hues more saturated, and changed the color palette to cold blue to create a dark and grim atmosphere.
✨Finally, we added details that clearly indicate that this is a crime story: we placed a police car behind the protagonist, added police tape to the foreground, and made the car lights bright to enhance the darkness in the background. We retouched the final image and enhanced the highlights and shadows to make the cover more catchy and contrasting 🙌
