I did my first triple that way but with a wooden frame and cord to lower it in place. At 120 deg apart its not as easy as the twin but it worked well. Centre piston and rod pre installed of course. 6:44
I definitely think it would be possible with a Trident as well. Pre-install the centre piston and set the outer two at equal heights. It looks like I will need to do another video!!
I'm sure this being a demo only, is the reason there doesn't appear to be a base gasket in position. Would that be right? Thanks for the video, - nice technique.
Thanks for your comment. There is definitely a gasket in place. If you look at the 1 minute 30 second point you should be able to see the base gasket sitting on the crankcases. Cheers!
