That elipses does a lot tbh. I don't have much context for this campaign, so like, with the captions I did read it initially as "Now I'm ready to have sex! [Bursts into tears]" x)
@@IrisGlowingBlue Honestly, that's not an uncommon thing for trans people to feel with after major transition milestones and surgeries. Like, it's hard to fuck when the body ain't right, and for you to lose your partner and then immediately overcome a major obstacle like that is real.
Brian Murphy is a genius, he created a character who started out as a irredeemable sack of shit who stole money from a struggling school and got cursed to take a form that befitted his greed saturated heart and wove the most heartwarming and heartbreaking character development arcs ever.
I love that Kugrash is externally one of the more tough and sort of rough around the edges of the group, but he’s also the one who’s the most in touch with his emotions and cries the most
I'm sure other people have said this, but I realized with my partner that Pete is ACTIVELY RECOVERING from top surgery for the entire campaign. What a fucking unit that man is.
Ally said that they didn’t realize how tough recovery is from top surgery when they created the character and only understood when they did it themselves after this campaign
Honestly i'm kind of glad you didn't include when the players actually get emotional because that's a different vibe I'm not ready for, like Rowan talking to the American Dream or Sophia talking to Dale in heaven (though those are great scenes)
Also I basically used the anechoic chamber at my college as a cry booth. It was honestly very therapeutic, in that major my imposter syndrome was particularly bad. Like why am I in this major with a bunch of smart people, and I'm fucking me. All my insecurities absorbed into the walls, falling through the grate to the floor. Anyways love that scene.
murph is an absolute god damn delight. sometimes i underappreciate him but he never misses bro. just hysterical!!!! he makes the funniest characters and he’s so dang sharp
2:00 was this scene before we found out that Wally was his son? it's pretty emotional regardless but looking back at it with retrospect gives it a very special pain

Should called this "The weeping city"
Unweeping* - "because I wasn't gonna f***n cry..."
"Wheres the booth man!?"
That's just New York baby
Dang that's good.
“Jesus Christ. I didn’t ask for your whole fucking life story!”
“You asked, what’s my fucking problem.”
Girl. Mood.
Fr though
Kugrash openly weeping every time Wally does _anything_ is so relatable
Brennan: *rolls to see if the barista tells Pete about the cry booth*
i feel like he was rolling a perception check to see if the barista could really tell how bad pete was holding it back

"Where's the BOOTH, man?!"
Brilliant line, exceptional moment.

Nothing is funnier then Pete going “Now I’m ready to….fuck” and then immediately bursting into tears

If you're not crying at least three times a week, can you TRULY call yourself a New Yorker?
NOPE!
I'm frickin crying over here!

I miss him so much
More like Kugrash and Sofia crying for 7.5 minutes straight
There's a solid amount of Pete in there too!
And Ricky crying when they cry
Misty/Rowan never cries but Siobhan cried basically every emotional scene. We love it
siobhan's acting for different characters is honestly wonderful
And she made Brennan get choked up
I love how the PCs confidently declare that they start crying.
Pete defensively saying DÜDE is the best
My Dad's A Little RAT. WIZARD.
I have absolutely zero context but this is still my favorite thing now. That crying booth one has to be the best one.

the pixie bride going "oh my god are you ok? okay, well, it's MY day so if you're gonna cry go outside" is SO underappreciated as a character choice

I legitimately want an episodic series of shorts where the barista who helped Pete helps different people each episode.
The cry booth scene is so funny. The facial expression and the “we’re all about it here” is great
The scene with the cheese basket is so much better with the knowledge at that point that Wally is his kid
tHE AMOUNT OF TIMES THAT IVE CRIED CAUSE OF WALLY IS CRAZY
Love how half of the time it's just Kug crying it's very fun
Ricky’s little “yeah why” to Robert gets me
the way zac says "yeah, why?" at 6:50 sent me
