4:19 We know that canonically there are disguised orcs in the Unsleeping City, and with that in mind, you can not convince me that this bartender is not Ragh Barkrock working a trans-dimensional summer job.
murph is an absolute god damn delight. sometimes i underappreciate him but he never misses bro. just hysterical!!!! he makes the funniest characters and he’s so dang sharp
I'm sure other people have said this, but I realized with my partner that Pete is ACTIVELY RECOVERING from top surgery for the entire campaign. What a fucking unit that man is.
Ally said that they didn’t realize how tough recovery is from top surgery when they created the character and only understood when they did it themselves after this campaign
Honestly i'm kind of glad you didn't include when the players actually get emotional because that's a different vibe I'm not ready for, like Rowan talking to the American Dream or Sophia talking to Dale in heaven (though those are great scenes)
2:00 was this scene before we found out that Wally was his son? it's pretty emotional regardless but looking back at it with retrospect gives it a very special pain
Brian Murphy is a genius, he created a character who started out as a irredeemable sack of shit who stole money from a struggling school and got cursed to take a form that befitted his greed saturated heart and wove the most heartwarming and heartbreaking character development arcs ever.
That elipses does a lot tbh. I don't have much context for this campaign, so like, with the captions I did read it initially as "Now I'm ready to have sex! [Bursts into tears]" x)
@@IrisGlowingBlue Honestly, that's not an uncommon thing for trans people to feel with after major transition milestones and surgeries. Like, it's hard to fuck when the body ain't right, and for you to lose your partner and then immediately overcome a major obstacle like that is real.
Also I basically used the anechoic chamber at my college as a cry booth. It was honestly very therapeutic, in that major my imposter syndrome was particularly bad. Like why am I in this major with a bunch of smart people, and I'm fucking me. All my insecurities absorbed into the walls, falling through the grate to the floor. Anyways love that scene.
I love that Kugrash is externally one of the more tough and sort of rough around the edges of the group, but he’s also the one who’s the most in touch with his emotions and cries the most
"Sophia Lee" 😮
siobhan's little sassy FUCK YEW! means everything to me tbh
I loved this campaign. I just watched and finished it.

Fantasy High: Daddy Issues Crown of Candy: Rage and Death Neverafter: Getting Upgraded after Death Unsleeping City: Crying constantly
The Unsleeping City wasn't just a gaming campaign, it was also a group therapy session.
I didn't realise they spent so much time crying.
Truly the most relatable season
The "I'm ready to fuck" cry has a 100% laugh ratio with me so far and I'm too embarrassed to admit how many times I've repeated it
murph looking truly so flabbergasted at his wife playing someone weeping over her ex-husband is so funny
Cry booths are a thing that should be implemented in all businesses everywhere.
you see i hate to state the obvious but there’s just really a lot of crying in this season
murph is an absolute god damn delight. sometimes i underappreciate him but he never misses bro. just hysterical!!!! he makes the funniest characters and he’s so dang sharp
The emotionally intelligent barista bit always gets me feeling melancholy because it's hilarious on its face but also hits really close to home
I'm sure other people have said this, but I realized with my partner that Pete is ACTIVELY RECOVERING from top surgery for the entire campaign. What a fucking unit that man is.
well didn’t he get like healing magic in the first episode?
Ally said that they didn’t realize how tough recovery is from top surgery when they created the character and only understood when they did it themselves after this campaign
@@daphneglasurus7886 Beardsley continuing to be based That also makes sense considering FH:SY was streamed/filmed/released after UC:C1.

I couldn’t believe that Siobhan would be the one to make Brennan tear up, I rewound that scene over and over
the compilation I didn't know I needed
That barista roll is nuts, what other scenarios did Brennan have prepared for that interaction??

I miss him so much
What's a DND game but a thinly veiled group therapy session sometimes?
the pixie bride going "oh my god are you ok? okay, well, it's MY day so if you're gonna cry go outside" is SO underappreciated as a character choice
Nothing is funnier then Pete going “Now I’m ready to….fuck” and then immediately bursting into tears
That elipses does a lot tbh. I don't have much context for this campaign, so like, with the captions I did read it initially as "Now I'm ready to have sex! [Bursts into tears]" x)

I'd say we need to protect Lugash at all costs, but I'm fairly certain he would protect us.
Kugrash openly weeping every time Wally does _anything_ is so relatable
This is a lot longer than I expected oml
Tbh the lore of unsleeping city is very tear inducing
"Now I'm ready to fuck." *breaks down crying*
I love that Kugrash is externally one of the more tough and sort of rough around the edges of the group, but he’s also the one who’s the most in touch with his emotions and cries the most
6:12 i had a really bad day and i just started sobbing at this line omfg this is the funniest thing that's ever happened to me
So much crying in this series T_T
That's a lot of crying.. don't remember half of it..
THE CRYING BOOTH IS UNHINGED IN THE BEST WAY
Acoc but it's just the pcs crying would be depressing
The guy showing Pete the cry booth is ragh reaching in from another universe
I love how the PCs confidently declare that they start crying.
The cry booth scene is so funny. The facial expression and the “we’re all about it here” is great
Season 2 would be an hour long and all poor Sofia going through the fucking ringer! Emily killed in that season
The finale of this season had me bawling my eyes out!
I cried…MULTIPLE TIMES per episode watching this series. Like, not since the Bureau of Balance arc from TAZ.
I legitimately want an episodic series of shorts where the barista who helped Pete helps different people each episode.
honestly every wally moment made me BAWL
“Where’s the _booth_ man!!?!?” That delivery was amazing
in which the citizens of a magical New York are honest with their emotions
ik there was a lot of joke crying in this campaign but i damn near actually cried at the liz and kingston scene before times squaremageddon
I didn’t realized how often sobbing occurred
Unsleeping City in-game crying vs. Crown of Candy real life crying
kugrash crying..... me getting nearly to the end and remembering SPOILERS that he dies and i cry
the way zac says "yeah, why?" at 6:50 sent me
