Big Mike: Yes, you will need bars on your windows. While violent crime is extremely low, property crime is not. Unless you plan to purchase in a gated community with 24/7 security, it is highly advisable that you place bars on your windows.
@@bigmike1065 theirr is no emergency when the need arises you're on your own, so you're more secured with iron bars. There is a company in UK that have a sophisticated iron bars windows joined together you can barely noticed the awkwardness.
