    If you need the painting work to look “high end” then mix pop material into the paint. Just something I learnt ❤️

    Nice videos and teaching us the technicalities of the building from starting to end.
    Why you didn't use concrete for the whole roofing but part is aluminium sheets?
    Is there any advantage of the two?

    Hi Jacob West, thank you for yet another amazing video. Is there a reason why grout and grout spreader was not used in the tilling process ( I think cement was used) . I also noticed that tilling spacers were not used for a seamless Finnish (this is really nice 👍🏽)
    For the skirting, why did you use tiles rather than wooden skirting boards.
    I hope to use your services soon so please forgive my questions on every video you post.
    Thank you

    • @Jacobwestgh
      @Jacobwestgh  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We used grout during this process but it was, unfortunately, not shown here. Spacers are not used for every project especially when you want your floor to look and feel like one large tile piece. We wanted a seamless finish, hence the reason why we did not use the spacers for some of the areas but for other areas such as the gym, we used spacers and they also gave us a different kind of finish.
      For the skirting, it comes down to choice really. We use the tiles because it gives us a clean a seamless finish

    Please I need your advise on problem; how do I treat a crack line on my wall. Also if there be should many small cracks on a wall after plastering.... what will be the remedy for that situation too.

    Nice interior finishing. My question is, do you guys import the tiles n other interior materials or they manufactured locally?

    • @Jacobwestgh
      @Jacobwestgh  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We source these materials locally from our suppliers. Some of the materials are imported, others are made here. We just ensure that the materials we use are of the highest quality and gives us the kind of finish that we want

    why lay tiles first, then paint the house and then P.O.P. and then windows? Is better to place the windows, then P.O.P then tiles and then paint the house

    • @Jacobwestgh
      @Jacobwestgh  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The first thing we did was fix the windows after which we installed our ceilings. Once the ceilings were completed, we started the tile work. Although skimming is one of the things that we did first, painting is one of the last things that we do.
      With regards to the corner moulds, it was a modification that came after we had applied the first coat of paint. Until the work is completed and handed over, just know that clients may want to make certain changes to their projects. If the changes proposed are feasible, we will find the best way to implement them, if not, we let them know that it is not possible

    How long did it take to finish the entiriety of the project? And how many plots

    • @Jacobwestgh
      @Jacobwestgh  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We were not the ones who did the construction of the building. We were brought in to do the finishing for the project and for the finishing, it has taken us almost a year to complete. The finishing could have been completed within a shorter time frame barring the challenges we have faced so far this year, 2020

      That’s if you have 20-30% of your project cost to pay them lol. No wonder most Ghanaians never go with these so called “professionals”. They all hire laborers and then hire a foreman/ Supervisor.

    • @bebusander9782
      @bebusander9782 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sidiknurudeen5513 is that a significantly cheaper option? But does the quality of work suffer though compared to professionals

    • @sidiknurudeen5513
      @sidiknurudeen5513 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bebusander9782 You’d be surprised that the “ professionals” uses the same local workers but pays them peanuts out of the ridiculous prices they charge. If you go to their website they specifically state helping “ diasporas build” aka charging you the foreign prices. Use your head !
