Unfortunately, I forgot to switch the loft start condition to "Match curvature" at 3:55 for the big circle. This means that the loft only had G1 continuity with the cylinder, not G2 continuity (and there wasn't a smooth transition, d'oh!). If you want G2 continuity there, just switch it to "Match curvature," and you'll be set. Sorry!

Here's my comment with ideas for a future video! (btw, your stuff is amazing - I just shared out to my facebook. exactly the breakthrough content I was looking for)
Imagine an egg shaker. In the end it will be made from glueing slices of laser cut sheet acrylic together. Basically visualize an egg that's gone through a 1980's hard boiled egg slicer. Then you cut out those slices on the laser cutter and glue the *hollow* egg shape together. Slices need to overlap for glue up. Some sort of part registration would be amazing. I.e. maybe each slice accepts the next smaller slice in a shallow "male/female" type inset. This allows the small piece to "lock" into place for proper glue alignment. But maybe that's too crazy. Probably just a 1mm registration hole would work - just poke in some 1mm wires between the two adjacent pieces for registration purposes.
For better or worse, that's my idea! Keep it up. Your videos make the world a better place.

So sorry I took so long to respond! That sounds like an awesome idea! Thanks for sharing! I recently got access to a laser cutter, so I'll be able to actually physically make it and document the whole process. Thanks again for watching and for the kind words!

@@AlnisSmidchens That would be amazing. Would love to watch and share. (or even collaborate!)
