i always wondered why people loved retro lookin games
but after playing roblox for around 10years, i finally understand
i do want to see and play old style games with maps that consist mostly of simple cube meshes, yet have high detail mixed inside, like verdent moon or abyss world.
It is a great thing to know that roblox has evolved from simple games about surviving random events to full on fps games with quality that makes my pc go to 90°.
roblox is truly a platform that i truly love and enjoy, i wish it never dies

I think some love should be given to the most realistic animal survival games on ROBLOX in development: The Look Out and Cenozoic Survival (Revamp). I've been following The Lookout which is basically a second installment of the Era of Terror game, and I am always in awe of the graphics I see in the game whenever I check its progress. Honestly, it could eventually become better than The Isle if the devs stay on top of balancing and performance issues. Cenozoic Survival's recode and remake doesnt have the same graphics that others have (they utilize split models as well) but the world is gorgeous and the animals that are finished in the game are pretty fleshed out.

As you were talking about a game like limbo being underrated that is true but we forget roblox is almost all mobile players so if you are talking about specs and stuff it might not run well on it and realistic games in roblox tend not to have alot of players for that aspect thats why games that use low poly models and low poly building styles tend to get more players just because of the access of playing it.

As someone who played back in 2012 up, and now I'm in my 20s it is hard to find something to play when I'm feeling like it. Needs more games to appeal to older players

i've been playing roblox since 2014, and they really do improve the graphic quality alot. Roblox devs really do great thing to improve their game and make more creative in-game developer build more interesting and awesome thing

Most focus on FPS games because they have a big following already, they are easier to flesh out than something like an Rpg game, and it's easier to convince fps players to try new games since it's the same Gameplay and the games doesn't have anything keeping players invested in it.

These are amazing! I can tell a lot of people put effort into these games and that one horror game you mentioned was very much criminally underrated. It was awesome! Also if you do another one of these videos, I suggest Lost Rooms, it's a rather very realistic horror game and it really brings the horror factor high

velocity outlast is a disney owned racing game called SPLIT//SECOND. I played it and it is really fun. The name comes from its EU name, SPLIT//SECOND Velocity.

Very late to this video, but I'm glad videos like this exist. I've grown tired of hearing people say things like, "what do you expect? It's Roblox." People just assume that the lack of quality on Roblox is due to Roblox's engine being limited. Now I won't say it isn't limited, we still don't even have custom shaders yet, but it's far less limited than most would realize.
The reason people have this opinion of Roblox is literally the exact same reason that Unity used to get hate for. Unity's logo would be plastered on all games who's developers couldn't afford to pay to remove the Unity logo from their game. This meant that most games coming out of Unity were low quality, and also had Unity's logo on it. That made people have the illusion that games made in Unity are bad, just the same way as people view Roblox. But then you look at the higher quality games that have come out of Unity and realize, maybe the engine is actually not as bad as I thought? Although, Unity is in some hot water now for a reason reason, and is honestly lacking compared to other engines anyway.
But the point is, the lack of quality is due to developers not putting more effort into their games. This isn't to hate on any developers, but I'll explain why that is the case. Due to the quality standard being so low on Roblox, you can save costs and efforts by not pushing that bar too much, and still have players enjoy it just the same? It's entirely monetary reasoning that's keeping the bar on Roblox as low as it is, though we've been seeing that bar rise over time.
Rare to see, half of these are old games made years ago some without updates. I wish it were more popular nowadays like it used to be.

A recommendation is black hawk mission 5 and it would be best to have an entire vid around it it has all modes 25v25 5v5 2v2 and open world soon zombies an entire loadout picking system and still the game has more coming! All the graphics will be shown at level 10 in your setting otherwise it wont show cool details any lower.

The racing game Velocity seems to be heavily based off of a non-Roblox game called Split Second
cars were took straight from that game and dev really did a good job imitating physics from split second

Ngl I'd love to see some highly realistic combat flight sim (Like DCS) but made with Roblox's engine. It doesn't have to look as good as DCS does, but I'm sure that'd be the easy part all things considered. The hard part would be completely modeling these realistic 1:1 replica's of military aircraft. I would attempt this if I was a developer, just to see if it was possible. Sadly I don't build, only did Lua scripting for others.
