Because it is & I remember it well & in some other posts for this storyline a couple of other people do to. Nicole died live on air while reporting the news (..the makeup poisoned..)
"You look like an angel..." and he almost kissed Dead Stacey! This show really did go out with a bang! Today's soaps would never have the balls to kill off the characters that Loving did.
The musical pieces that they started using just for the serial killer storyline were awesome. They knocked it out of the park with all the creepy music brought in for this storyline. The "ultimate danger music" that plays right before Buck kisses Stacey on her dead lips usually played when someone was dead. That usually meant kiss your @ss goodbye. The "ultimate danger" music played when Stacey died, when Clay died and when Curtis died. They didn't play it for Cabot and Isabella's deaths (I was disappointed, haha). Then we had someone actually survive the ultimate danger music: Both Gwen and Ally in the car. Of course we know now that Gwyn tried to kill herself and Ally in the car. But Buck broke the car window with a rock and saved them. Remember that scene where the killer spied on Ally and her son? Then the ultimate danger music played again as the killer poured quick drying plaster on Jeremy and killed him. Then it played again when the killer (Gwyn) chloroformed Tess. But then Tess ended up not being killed as Steffi interrupted Gwyn, so Tess survived the ultimate danger music.
I did Notice the Jeffrey Osborne theme song was dropped during the "Figure it out" episodes..It was replaced by the "Figure it out" opening and the voiceover recap of the previous episode detailing the clues.. Clue right there.. When Tony says "Figure it out"..
It's interesting to see the scenes with Curtis, Isabelle, Cabot, and Gwyenth, knowing that all four of them would be dead by the end of the show (and Gwyneth killed the other three, as well as Stacey, Clay, and Jeremy)... And, at this time, Curtis had been stalking Stacey, and it initially looked like he'd killed Stacey and his father (Clay)...until he wound up dead, too...
Why is this very similar to Nicole Cavanaugh's death from The Edge of Night?
