Bass Fishing a Biodiverse Powerhouse River - Bobcat Present and Filmed!

The Duck River is a top biodiverse river in the world, and it's just 25 minutes from my home in Middle Tennessee. I've seen otters, thousands of fresh water mussels, a variety of fish and now, a BOBCAT!
All catches were made on topwater Whopper Ploppers this hot July afternoon. I fished for about 5 hours, paddling upstream from the Carpenters Bridge access point in Columbia, Tennessee.

Braver than me in this heat!! got up at 4am the last two weekends to spend 4 hours on the water...couldn't do it this week. Great to see the wildlife coming back...I guess the advantage of social media is none of the teenage boys are out hunting anymore....thanks for the video!!

Tougher than me! I haven’t had the kayak out in the heat, just been wading every weekend staying nice and cool! Sitting on top has got to be toasty!

Hey what a brake off you had. Lot of fish you caught on that tie do you check often. What pound test you ran.

I believe that was a 20 lb leader. I check for nicks on the line often.
