@@joshuameyers7840 A few years ago, SMG4 made a video discussing Tari’s conception and showed off initial concept art. The original idea was that she would be a gaming android who Mario found asleep in the castle’s basement.

If I'm being honest, Meta Runner's Tari design looks better than the one we have currently. A future SMG4 video should give her a redesign using the Meta Runner Tari design we see here.

While Grand Mario Hotel was as hilarious as it was this sequel really takes a whole other level. Especially the part with the 8bit Mario universe was definitely very unique and creative on its own as they actually made the regular Mario the enemy for him to kill.

@@chelli2929 that was when WOTFI 2019 was dropped which was 3 years ago the first time we actually seen it when Cartoon Tari (the original one in every video) looked at the mirror and saw Meta runner Tari so that was first sign we knew about Meta runner

Tari will always be one of my favorite characters, both in SMG4 and Meta Runner. Hard to believe its been 4 years since her debut. I'll miss Meta Runner Tari's adventures when they come to an end, but I'm glad I was along for the ride.

This actually a really cute episode with Tari. This warms my heart a lot. Can’t believe it’s been four years since she was introduced.
Having watched SMG4 since 2013, I still remember when Tari was first introduced 4 years ago. I still remember one of my favorite all time scenes when she used her Meta Runner arm to completely demolish everybody in the shooting ducks game in "The Mario Carnival" I also remember watching the very first episode of Meta Runner when it first came out. Part of me is having a hard time wrapping around the fact that Meta Runner is ending with Season 3. Time sure does fly. It's amazing to see all the adventures Tari has been on both in the SMG4 world as well as the Meta Runner World. It's awesome and heartfelt to see all main avatars of Tari in this episode, and that hug between the two Taris at 10:59 was just absolutely amazing! Tari sure has come a long way! Kudos to SMG4 and Celeste Notley-Smith! What an amazing video to honor 4 years since Tari's debut!

This video was........ I'm speechless, this video meant a lot to me. Tari is my favorite character from this channel and I am so impressed that they actually made a video about multiple versions of her teaming up together. This is defiantly one of their greatest videos they ever made, and I can't help but love every single bit of it! From the different universes, to the big showdown at Silica City, and the part were both Taris hug at the very end. ( and SMG4 Tari calling Meta Runner Tari that she's the big sister that she never had.) This video put me into my feelings too much right now ahhhhhhhh! I think I'm fanboying too much at this point, so I'm gonna go and listen to Sunflower right now. all that's left for me to say is: Thanks SMG4 for making this amazing tribute for Tari's 4th Anniversary, and for Meta Runner coming to an end. I kinda figured Tari would be fully voice acted. My other guess was that Tari was going to watch both Seasons 1and 2 of Meta Runner.

Well it was only for this video that they have smg4 tari talking after this she never talked until we get to the episode grand theft mario when smg4 tari gets a redesign and she starts to talk again but then after the smg4 movie Western spaghetti smg4 tari never talks again until 2024 where she got a new voice actress and starts taking once again they just can't seem to decide whether they want smg4 tari talking or not

My headcanon:
This episode takes place before the events of the Lawsuit Arc.
Even though this is not canon to other SMG4 videos, this has to be one of my favorite SMG4 videos of all time. Great story great plot and great job with references to Meta Runner and speaking of that it was cool to see the other Tari in that universe to go inside the SMG4 universe to give Mario and Tari a hand and also I love seeing the variety of Mario’s from the past. This is what I will call this video: Super Mario: In The Multiverse Of Madness. This was a great video for Tari’s debut. You did good SMG4 you did good. To me my number one favorite channel on TH-cam.
I respect your opinion, but there's a lots of SMG4 episodes that I think are actually good instead of emotional storytelling or something like that. For me, the only good thing in this episode was Marios.

This just might be the last time we see SMG4 in an arc because this arc we are watching is not related to any unusual events and the event we see now is the event that holds all other events that are 90% the same events we could’ve seen in another universe
This so could have been the beginning of a multiversal arc for SMG4 THEY EVEN MENTION AVATARS! Also Seeing Beta-Tari (The robot one) in action has left me wondering what would have happened if they had used THAT Tari instead of our current one... Overall I hope to see more Like this one!

This reminds me of _Grand Hotel Mario,_ where Mario got himself into a hotel full of all the Marios known in the franchise (plus some extras, including Grand Dad).

Honestly not only was this a nice way to celebrate Tari's 4 year anniversary on SMG4, but also the PERFECT opportunity to give SMG4's animators a chance to animate the different Taris - a reminder that they're just as important to Glitch as the team behind Meta Runner. This was a great move on Luke and Kevin's part - much respect, lads 💙
My friends doesn't have many expectations for considering it a meta runner commercial, but for me, being Tari one of my favorite characters, it become one of my favorite episodes.
Besides, now what we are touching about the multiverse theme, the possibilities that the fans stories become animated are even more, like a full chapter of Desti seen in the What it or even the Genesis Arc with Axol against Mel0ny! Can't wait to see how Smg4 take this concept far away!

@@SilenceBot I think it would only really mess with the meta runner lore, SMG4 tari doesn't really play a major role she is mostly a side character with a few spotlights in episodes or arcs. Though It would be cool if Tari had her own arc on SMG4 (or at least an arc where she plays a major role affecting the smg4 universe lore).
Of course re-enacting meta runner plot beats in smg4 would be kind of redundant, though they could make similar parallels (i.e. Tari gets kidnapped or villain tries to capture the cast and smg4 turns herself in, and eventually like in season 3 she would become a better fighter (also in season 3 she is almost exclusively in the skybreakers game and sheridans server, so if there was an smg4 tari arc she could be trapped in a game or virtual simulation, and the cast would have to try and hack in to get her out. They could even try to have an smg4 universe equivalent to Lucinia who likewise can only regain consciousness again if Tari gives up her spirit/AI etc, since in meta runner they are basically one in the same person.
But that's just an idea, this video got me thinking.
