Love your entire family. I remember when Andrew never would be on film and now he is a total natural. And let's mention how sweet that little bundle of love is Laurel. ❤❤❤
Old RIP from Carbon, Texas! OMG I had one of those!!! He’s commonly known as a “horney toad” but he’s a horned lizard. I grew up in West Texas and horney toads were really common. They puff up as a defense. Interesting creature!
I would've bought that 5-finger set & the Viking Glass Orange. Those still make good $. It's always great to learn from Andrew too. He knows so much about many weird things.
Hi Jocelyn and Andrew. You are really spoiling us with all the different antique shops. It is really interesting though how many different things there are and how some similar things to. Thankyou for sharing. Hope Andrew found alot of his military stuff along the way.
Right away in the new place, I'm yelling we need a basket...everything you were picking up was too good to leave. Finally, a shopping cart for Joselyn . And Andrew has the baby wagon and finds things for a dollar! Anyone can see you guys make a great family. ❤️
You are having an influence on me. Here I am in Hobby Lobby buying a ceramic tea light owl. I was just rubbing my hand over it feeling for rough edges. Ha ha
For cleaning nambe - use peek metal polish on a soft cloth and rub it in. Rinse with water and I use windex to remove any residue and then wash again with soap and water. Dry the piece and it's like brand new. It will not remove any scratches or scuffs, but it will have a brilliant shine.
I have a beautiful Nambe bud vase that I've had for sale in a small space I rent. It is 20 years old and still shiney and beautiful and I'm shocked that it hadn't sold! They are pieces that you can put with wood or glass or ceramics.....just won't sell! Love the dish you found!
I drive by that place once a week for work but it's always closed. I have always wondered what kind of place it was. I'm so glad you stopped in there so I could see some of it. I will have to make a trip down there when it's open and I'm not working!
I never used to look at the baggies at Goodwill until I watched you find some good stuff, so I started looking! Today I found some Enesco vegetable figurines! Three of them in the bag a dog, sheep, and hippo! Was excited after I seen how much they sell for! I only paid $3.49 for the whole bag!!
Old Rip is from Texas! It’s a horned toad that was encased in the cornerstone of a building back in the early part of the 20th century. Somewhere in west TX.
Those clear glass Scottie dogs originally held coloured candy. I have one with the faded candy still in it as well as a glass train of the same type. They were my father’s from the early 1930s and we bring them out at Christmas 🎄
OMG!! like Somerset this is about 25 mins from me and I used to shop there all the time. About 2 yrs ago I think I commented that you should come to the Bedford area. Love your videos. ❤
Old Rip is a horned lizard. Legend from West Tx. He got trapped in courthouse masonry when being constructed. Rip was found alive during reconstruction…I think it was in Eastland, Tx. I live in Abilene.
Dagny would have loved the bright orange ash tray you looked at! this place had soooo much great stuff. I would have a hard time pulling myself away. Happy thrifting
At 15:00 the creature is Old Rip, a horned toad who was famous for surviving 31 years in a time capsule in Texas (I think) about 100 years ago. He was a popular souvenir.
Nice video as always, Jocelyn around 14:00 those glass horses. At a auction I go to regularly, they sold a very similar piece. A couple ppl said they were HEISY, might want to check into it. Have a great day.
Ol' Rip was a honey toad (horned lizard) that was found in the cornerstone of the Eastland County Courthouse. Been taking a nap like Rip Van Winkle. He was found alive and had been in there for 31 years.
Old Rip is a horned toad from Eastland, Texas. My dad was raised there. The story went that in the town hall (or courthouse), there was a time capsule. When it was finally opened, a horned toad jumped out. He was named “Old Rip” and was made the town’s mascot. He was stuffed and displayed in the town hall. Much later, it was discovered that Old Rip was a hoax. Someone slipped him in right before the time capsule was opened. So he was taken down from his place of honor. In Eastland, there was a pottery factory. I don’t know the name of it. They sold the Old Rips in their factory store. I had one as a kid.
It's funny I can tell when you're hungry, your interest in things goes down. I'm the same way, if I'm tired or hungry I'm kinda just done. Great shopping trip, bet you'll be happy to get home sweet home. ❤️
Andrew, I have the best nanner nanner story about my sister after a stoke and brain surgery, buying a birthday cake at a bakery and me NEVER showing my face at that shop again 😅😂🥹❣️❣️ too long to tell but thanks for the memory. Great shopping
03:04 Andrew Posing as a Heroic Statue. 😂 😂 03:45 Ah 'on' care nothin' about the elephant mugs, gimme that Primary Colours fridge container! 04:44 Ummm ... Finnish? 05:34 I see what looks like a killer aluminium kitchen canister set. 06:28 Prolly. That price is collector retail, though. 07:10 Now THEY are Mexico like nobody's business. 12:11 I love the antler-handle carving set. I got one that belonged to my grandmother; the handles were loose so I took them to a knife shop and had the handles re-attached properly. We sometimes use them at holiday dinners, still. 13:05 I do too, all that turquoise. 14:30 OOOOH! Aladdin #109 Cathedral in amber, from 1934! $60 to $75.
Andrew was right! Ol' Rip was a horned toad lizard from Texas! Rip supposedly survived a 31 year hibernation in the cornerstone of a building in Eastland, Texas from the late 1800s to the late 1920s and became a national celebrity. He was featured in a movie in the 1920s and even met the US President!
You guys need to plan a road trip to come back here. So next time you guys can take the time to look at everything! Just think of all the stuff you left behind because you didn't have room. Next time get a Uhaul. Just saying.
The lizard figurine is a horned toad…or horny toad as they are called in the country. They are native to Texas and the southwest. Their populations have really diminished over recent years and scientists are raising them for release to try to boost numbers. The “horned frog” is also the mascot of Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth, Texas. I grew up catching these little dinosaurs and they are very cool. Wouldn’t surprise me if the little figurine is worth a bit of $$.
Home.E.Geez has a store in Bedford, PA. I couldn’t tell if that’s the store you were in, but suspected it wasn’t. I’ve found a few things there for myself.
The jack in the pulpit vase was Fenton. Handpainted by Marilyn Wagner...a highly sought after Fenton artist.
And $50 was a very good price!
Thus place is huge great finds
Love your entire family. I remember when Andrew never would be on film and now he is a total natural. And let's mention how sweet that little bundle of love is Laurel. ❤❤❤
Love all the treasures, Laurel is the best one! She is so happy, just goes along!
Old RIP from Carbon, Texas! OMG I had one of those!!! He’s commonly known as a “horney toad” but he’s a horned lizard. I grew up in West Texas and horney toads were really common. They puff up as a defense. Interesting creature!
When I was young living in New Mexico we had lot of horny toads if you put them on their back rub their belly they will go to sleep lol😉
My dad was raised in Eastland. I had an Old Rip as a kid as well.
I would've bought that 5-finger set & the Viking Glass Orange. Those still make good $. It's always great to learn from Andrew too. He knows so much about many weird things.
That large industrial fan is extremely relaxing along with you describing the stuff you’re shopping for, ASMR to the max!
the only thing better tan seeing you Andrew and Laurel..is seeing all five of you together!
JIP vase definitely Fenton. She was a well known artist for them in the day.
Thanks for taking us along with you three on such a fun shopping trip 🙂 what a fabulous store.
One of our favorite stops a few times a year when we camp over that way. I have found lots of goodies there over the years.
Hi Jocelyn and Andrew. You are really spoiling us with all the different antique shops. It is really interesting though how many different things there are and how some similar things to. Thankyou for sharing. Hope Andrew found alot of his military stuff along the way.
I love that wagon/carriage/baby cruiser....
Baby Laurel is such a good shopper.
This was such a great place to shop. You, Andrew and Laurel definitely need to come back to this store to shop again. What a great variety of items.

I fell asleep watching this last night so I had to come back and rewatch it. That was a really neat store
I like your enthusiasm when you discover an item for resell and you have excellent taste. Way to go.
You were right! The sun is a star🤣
I think when you go next year you need to get a bigger top for the back of your truck! Then you can buy everything! 🥰

Been meaning to mention that I’m digging the new music on your videos
It is so hard to find Bittersweet in my area. I was yelling at the screen to grab that ashtray.
Those clear glass Scottie dogs originally held coloured candy. I have one with the faded candy still in it as well as a glass train of the same type. They were my father’s from the early 1930s and we bring them out at Christmas 🎄
Actually I believe my Scottie is smaller.

Clear glass donut hole candlesticks are Blenko
You need to get a topper for that truck so you can get more stuff in it. LOL
Marilyn Wagner IS a Fenton artist - I found a vase just like that under her name
Grew up in Bedford. Goodwill across the street there too.
