Hey, great videos. I'm really enjoying the series and can't wait for the next one. Can I make suggestion thou, can you add the page numbers for the rules you are explaining on the given slide? Having the explanation and the rules itself in front of me would really help remember them.
Welcome to game! If you're not on the Facebook group or r/Starfinder_RPG subreddit, I'd recommend them as great places for new GMs to get help or kick around ideas. The discord for the Cosmic Crit Podcast is also very welcoming.
Another great one! These rules explanations are great to check if my rules interpretations are the same. This particular vid helped me with clarification on how long someone is surprised must retain the flat-footed condition. I had been clearing the condition from everyone at the start of the first non-surprise round. Thanks for helping with that! Now do in-depth starship combat. 😊
I did that too -- clear flat-footed at the start of the first non-surprise round. It's amazing how much I learn when I actually sit down to research stuff! And the starship vids are coming... promise! But I'll be honest... they won't be ready any time soon. I want to do a full series for people brand new before I tackle something like that.
I'm a first-time DM that's never played a tabel-top RPG. Your videos are keeping me sane. I do wish for a few more in-game example visuals (kinda like the surprise round with the 7 characters), but these are still the most clear and helpful videos I've found for Starfinder. Thank you.
