I awakened and now I don’t trust anyone. I love a few people dearly, and I love humanity unconditionally, but I trust no one. Everyone is a walking ball of karma and you never know their true intentions. Even good, loyal friends become jealous. So hold it all lightly, enjoying moments of friendship, but only trust yourself completely. 🙏🕊️💖💖💖💖

This video is incredibly meaningful! I’m especially impressed by how clearly it explains and applies Stoic philosophy to real-life situations. The section on distinguishing true friends from two-faced people is truly insightful and has helped me reflect on my relationships. Thank you for sharing such valuable lessons!

    1. People who gossip about others.
    2. The constant critic -someone who's always finding fault in what you do.
    3. The superficial friend - the ones that disappear and aren't there for you when you are going through tough times.
    4. People who lack empathy.
    5. The provocateur - the ones that irritate and provoke you.
    6. The complainer - they have problems they're not trying to solve and when you help them, you feel used and drained.
    7. The two-faced person - their deceitful actions breed distrust, conflict, and insecurity in relationships.
    8. People that can't take "no" for an answer - they only care about you when you are useful to them.
    9. Psychological manipulator - every move is calculated to achieve their own goals, they are only in it for their own benefit.
    10. I would add - energy vampires.

Great point!. Recognizing these individuals and setting healthy boundaries is crucial for maintaining your well-being. It's essential to protect your energy just as much as you protect your time and focus. When you remove or minimize exposure to energy vampires, it makes room for more positivity, growth, and healthy connections. Energy is a valuable resource-guard it wisely!

I just wish I could be more of a stocic person. I find it hard to trust anyone. Ive been hurt too often. I am a christian believer Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour, have attended numerous churches and still can not make worthwhile friendships. I would rather be alone than be in lopsided relationships.

wish you all the best,Stoicism teaches us to focus on what we can control - our thoughts, actions, and responses. While trust can be difficult after being hurt, it's important not to let past experiences dictate your peace. Instead of expecting others to fulfill your needs, focus on being self-sufficient and cultivating inner calm. True relationships are built on mutual respect and understanding, not reliance. Embrace solitude if it brings peace, but remain open to new, balanced connections

You're right-many people can be quick to take advantage of kindness, and it can feel like betrayal when they talk behind your back after you've tried to help them. It's important to learn how to protect yourself, both emotionally and mentally. Setting boundaries and being cautious about who you let in is crucial.

I am so sorry you are going through this. It is incredibly painful when someone you love and trust, especially family, betrays you in such a way. It can be a deep wound, and the shock of realizing that the person who was supposed to support you has hurt you in such a way is overwhelming. Wishing you much more good things to come.
