This is the anime that got me into anime. The way I found it was very weird too. About say, two years ago, I was doing a project for social studies. I had already decided to stop watching TV as nothing there was entertaining for me and eventually got stuck watching only youtube videos. Soon, I started getting a craving for something with more of a story than individual let's play videos. My Social Studies teacher had us do a sort-of newspaper for medieval times (the time period) so I decided to make an article about being a blacksmith. As I was searching for pictures, I came across a picture of this anime. Curious, I decided to look at it. And well, after that I started watching anime and that's all she wrote.
i used to be one of those people who thought medieval times was going to be boring but when i got into youtubers like Shad and Skallgahrim and when i got into history books i then realized that medieval times is way better than fantasy itself, it just depends what you look at medieval times.
I think it's a shame this anime only got one season, I really wish it would have gotten more. I think the episodes in the first season were entertaining, the soundtrack was great, and the anime as a whole had a good feel or tone to it. I almost felt like I was watching the beginning of an old school, classic JRPG or something. I suppose the manga is the only other option at this point.

Ah, my third anime, i believe. This opening is so nostalgic...... And the main reason why i love the name Cecily so much. Really wanted Luke and Cecily to hook up at the end, but, what can you do?
Please another season 🤞🤞🤞 it has so good potential and the ending did feel rushed But I really loved the story and I would love more I hope they make another one soon
Kareem Al-khairi Well, honestly it probably would have been a good anime to me if the main character wasn't beyond annoying. She was really the only problem. I couldn't even stand watching the whole thing because of her. Sorry if you like her, that's just my opinion :(
Its one of those animes that catches your interest by having an interesting plotline, interesting characters, and much mor interesting history. It is serious at times yet it does joke around a bit, usually with a comment about the main characters oversized bewbs, speaking of which the main character is an aspiring knight guard in a city who just signed on and needs a good sword, as for everything else, well, you'll just have to watch it for yourself
My mind can’t comprehend the fact that the voice actors for Luke and Cecily are the same as Misaki and Usui’s...kyaaaaaaaa 😍😍😍 Please excuse me if I have bad grammar. English isn’t my first language😅

the Japanese "no" fills(to my knowledge, I never studied the language) the role of showing relationships between words, e.g. Seiken no Blacksmith it shows that the Seiken is an adjective to Blacksmith; in Kokoro no Kaze(wind of heart; heart wind) it would be indicating a genitive case.
It’s one of the most generic openings I’ve heard, but I remember enjoying this show more than a decade ago, despite remember literally nothing about it. I should rewatch it. Just wanted an anime blacksmith song while I do black smith stuff on Final Fantasy

exactly! thats the point the art style really do affect the wat the story really is, also anime is based on a manga. usually the manga comes out then the anime, but cartoons are just animations "then maybe" books.

Acctually there is Some animes do get produced in america such as gundam Pokemon Yu gi yoh and Thundercats those are all original animes from japan put in american format
To be honest ive heard allot of shit from people about this anime because people said that the character was anoying but i didnt know what if they were talking about the dub or sub, so i watched the sub it wasnt amazing like Re:Zero but damn was it enjoyable im not going to say i loved it but i liked the anime. but i think all of those complaints where from assholes who watch to much hero academia, Naruto and all of those other popular anime basically.
from what i know i think the manga is translated up to 36 i'm sure there are way more untranslated but the anime is over and done with its been years since it aired after all.

I watch american cartoons and I watch Japanese ones. There are differences in the art styles, but other than that its the same. You can't say that anime only has certain story lines, so there's not much of a difference other than the country of origin.

on the original novel she does get raped by siegfried thought,but the creator changed that scene with the one that we got on manga(due to the fanbase)
